If they're faithful to the source, then they probably won't kill him at all. Avengers 4 is the end of this entire arc so everything should resolve there as far the battle with Thanos goes. Then we're onto to a new storyline(and new threat) entirely when Phase 4 starts.

Phase 4 with Doom as the big bad would be the most epic shyt of all time. If only Fox weren't such dikks
