You don't have to use the R2 button to shoot/L2 to aim.... They now have an option to choose the L1 button to aim/R2 to fire (PS3 controller setup)...

I prefer this I doubt it improves my k/d however I still prefer it.
I'm switching back to infantry due to the new set up.. my k/d is about to drop 0.7 lol..... you're not alone...
............................ have you tried playing hardcore mode? enemies die a lot faster... guns are more powerful.... all sniper rifles are one shot kills it seems like.... Utilize test range as well.... what class do you run as?

I was running as support and sucking it up...I started getting better when I began running with assualt and engineer...and my support got better when I realized that different game modes made better use of certain weapons and classes.

I was playing a lot of squad death match so I would get ate up with LMGs but I love that shyt on operation locker/metro conquest.

The Aug is an assualt rifle and the Mtar is a carbine. My fave weapons.
Assualt:Aug a3 or famas
Carbine:Mtar
Lmg:aws
Sniper:sr
Pdw: mp7
Shotgun:uts 15
