I'm not an expert but I have over 50 kills with the mortars and I'm one of the few who enjoys using them.

Mortars are fun as hell. Camping snipers get mad at me for using them like they don't fly to the top of Flood zone and have a field day before they get their kufi's blown off by one.

You cant refill ammo on mortars though so

Yeah they replenish automatically your a beast so you can fling some mortars kill some fools and put the mortars back down...if your going to just post and wait for targets I think it takes a minute to replenish fully after 5 rounds but you are vulnerable as hell while shooting it just like dudes who are sniping.
