So I've finally unlocked the Aws, Mtar, pdw and this aug seems to be the best weapon.

Aren't the assignment unlock weapons supposed to be more powerfull?

It's amazing all that time I wasted playing support.

Go to Battlelog somewhere in the options designate which you one you want for your main soldier.
This screen I clicked customize soldier portrait to get here see I got my ps4 soldier as my active acct
