Something im going to try today

Im going to try to hide a mortar around a corner in an elevator and then launch mortars into the ceiling of the elevator when the enemy gets on the elevator to see if i can get some kills

It doesn't work it just reloads and you fire again...only thing I saw that could work was the robot....

But maybe my timing was off.

No splash damage on mortars. Sickening.

Tanks are fine Ap shells are the best against infantry.Sabot shells you literally need a direct shot to kill infantry.He shells deal the most damage to vehicles but aren't the best against infantry.I use AP shells and the coaxial HMG best combo since staff shells got nerfed

Maybe thats the issue.

Do you prefer long or short range to engage infantry.

doesn't really matter if you want to engage infantry AP shells are the best due to the splash damage and distance.I try to stay a good distance away due to Javelins locking on to you at 350m.That's why I use the HMG

How do you feel about them nerfing splash damage on tanks. I love tanks as well but this has really hurt my desire to use them. I feel like the sraw is more powerful then a tank shell against infantry right now, friend.

Dont let these friends get you down about those vehicles. They're really fun to use and thats why its called Battlefield. Alot of these guys dont have 1 kill in a jet. Its so embarrassing, friends.

sraw one hit kills helis lol... I prefer the smaw though... no drop at all...



AP shell is a one hit kill on infantry and groups of infantry....

AP Shell = base damage, slight drop and splash damage

HE Shell = high damage, ohk on all aircraft, disables all armour in one or two hits, HUGE drop and no splash damage

Sabot Shell = base damage, NO drop, more accurate at long range and no splash damage

^^^BF4 calls this balance.....



Yea, vehicles are fun when you start getting used to them... heck even I play as the support class when vehicle play gets boring...

Canister Shell is pretty lethal on maps like dawn breaker and shanghai..... hmg is a secondary weapon you can use on all maps though..
