I haven’t been impressed with this season either. It’s good and definitely not bad, but I don’t know why it doesn’t feel on par with previous seasons. It doesn’t even feel like the final season either.

I think it has to be Nacho exiting early. Those first 3 eps were

Straight up, I don’t even care about Saul’s arc; not even what happens to Kim. Lalo/Gus has more of my interest. Hopefully these final eps are

Vince G. wanted 10 episodes. However, the higher ups wanted it split into 2 separate mini-seasons.

I just caught up to this season oh lawd I love the slow burn aspect of this show its so tense

In vince we trust so i know this slow burn going to cook up a great meal

at the Mid season break I really hate how AMC handles their shows and refuse to watch them live thats why i waited 6 weeks thinking then i can watch weekly now after next week we have to wait til July 12 for the show to comeback

Friend brought up his own Kim theory that she leaves via Forster’s character (vacuum man). Got me thinking she catches a charge and takes the money and bounces.

I think she ends up in jail and never wants to see Saul again.

I was rooting for Walt until he became a mark for himself

I dunno...I'm kinda sorta still rooting for Jimmy even though he too became a mark for himself

Howard def don’t deserve how they trying to ruin him but I’ll give you their reasons why they got a grudge.


1.Howard is holding up the Sandpiper case to get the max payout while Jimmy wants his payout now(and Kim wants him to get that money too)

2. Howard did punish Kim at HHM by sending her to doc review twice.

3. Howard represents the rich corporate types that are everything Kim and Jimmy hate. Its why Kim would rather do pro bono work than work for big dogs like Mesa Verde. Its why Jimmy gives that young woman a speech after her scholarship is rejected(due to her past), because he sees himself in her that will always be judged by clean cut people like Howard.



Although Jimmy def seems less comfortable with this Howard plan and a lil guilty while Kim is mos def in the drivers seat.

I forgot a big detail.

Kim is all about self control and being the master if her own universe. We see this when she tells Jimmy in doc review, “You dont save me, I save me.” She didn’t want to be indebted to Howard, so she tried to pay him back for the firm paying for her law school. He rejected, which was a power move to keep her feeling indebted to HHM, which she most likely resented. Her character is all about being in control of her own universe.it was either season 4 or 5 where Howard rejected her check and gave her a wwe promo talking down to her. Couldnt find the youtube clip.

this ep had a lot of parallels that were a bit too obvious for my taste. Id tone it down a notch. the whole lil kim allusion, then the vet who does crime and has a passion to help people, mike with his granddaughter, and kim with her pro bono work...just too in your face I think

also german dude doing dumb shyt leaning to a guy who was just after you with a gun in the middle of nowhere

Man, I wasnt feeling this episode at all. Seemed so out of their normal style. They way it was shot was similar, but the direction was so...i dont know....forward? it had me like

yeah I love the show for being subtle yet deliberate. the chuck plotline was my favorite in the entire show so its not like I mind cartel stuff being pushed back to the background
