:aicmon:

The Clottley fight was clearly a fight where Clottley was paid to lose, Arum said Clottley got a bonus and all, and after the fight, Clottley started to send mysterious messages about his performance also, then packed his bags and ran away before the fire got too hot, there is a reason networks aint touching Clottley, and Clottley having like 1 fight since. He got paid to take a ass whipping, point blank period

I love your theories.

personally i think julio diaz may KO khan and throw the khan plans in the bushes :mjpls:

breh....Khan is so shaky. I mean....GBP have to cover their eyes every time he gets in the ring and be like :whew: after he wins. he is so marketable and brings a lot of money, but you just never know with him.

@A$VP Hagler★

Big Hagler fan here too. I cant speak much on before my time but Hagler is the best middleweight I ever seen bar none. Also, a top P4P GOAT. :salute:

yes, we can discuss them, but Hagler is purely my opinion from what I have seen. didnt see as much of Monzon as I did Hagler and BHOP. BHOP is a legend with great accomplishments but to me, its not even close. Hagler far more dominant especially against better opposition. I dont have a problem with anyone who would choose Monzon or BHOP though.

I love your theories.
:heh:

I'm damn near 100% on that one, Manny flailing at air like a damn fool missing like 800 punches, while Clottley stood there with the :comeon: look on his while pulling his punches when he did decide to throw which coincidentally stopped after Manny started to bruise and him refusing to counter even though he had Manny wide open at times. The Arum and Clottley fukkery afterwards solidified that point...........................

Clearest fix or dive since Oscar Bhop

I will admit, what you say cant totally be discounted because Clottey is such an accurate puncher. Half of what he throws lands. He just wasnt throwing. A big strong guy like that, known for having a granite chin shouldnt be afraid to let his hands go against a naturally smaller guy. Clottey couldve won that fight, he let me down. The thing that makes me feel otherwise though is, he has done that bullshyt before. Didnt step on the gas against Cotto....did he throw that one too you think? Clottey is not a fighter who integrates his offense and defense well. He either plays one or the other, but never at the same time. Kinda like a low activity rate version of Winky Wright. Due to his lack of one punch power and low activity rate, he was just below world championship caliber to me.

Cotto was his size though, Manny he out weighed by at least 20 pounds in the ring, I could see if Manny gave him a reason to be apprehensive, all those punches he threw, he aint land not one flush shot on Clottey, a man that took bombs from Cotto, Judah and Margarito

That fight was clearly a fix, so was the Mosley Manny match IMO.

SN:So was Mosley Canelo who Mosley was hitting at will in the second half of the fight but refusing to put mustard on his shots like he did Margarito for whatever reason, Mosley was slapping like he was trying to play patty cak, but instead of networks banning the fighter like did Clottey and Mosley recently, they should attack the promoters and other parties involved in those charades. It happens too much in the sport in the last 5 or so years, shyt has to change:demonic:

Before Megaupload went down I had some rare footage and fights, the guy was a warlord.

15 mile jogs wearing army boots along sandy beaches!? He defined the word tough!

Odi mma!

yeah that clottey fight was a huge disappointment....clottey showed none of the fire he displayed when he faced fighters like corrales, judah, margarito, cotto...he was just overhwhelmed but the few punches he did land did mark up pac's face something serious...i chalked that up as an off night lol...its funny about that margarito fight it was a hard fight for pac for sure but the beating he put on margarito was so brutal and thorough that i thought the only punishment pac experienced was landing the punches on margo lol..we'll see 147 is wide open..after this weekend we'll get pac-rios or pac-alvarado

Yup he said himself he doesn't expect to fight JMM again although I still think the fight can be made.

I'm chomping at the bit for a Pac/Rios fight though. As one dimensional as Rios is, those 2 could have a real fire fight!

although you and I rarely agree, and I dont feel Mosley fight was fixed....it wouldnt surprise me. a lot of these fights are fixed I believe...and you can never be so naive to believe it doesnt happen. Arum has bribed sanctioning bodies before.....so...:manny:

SN: I believe Margarito began loading his gloves after Paul Williams. Margs was the self-proclaimed most avoided in boxing, but he was trying to duck Paul Williams. when Williams won, he was a sore loser about it.

Margs has NEVER been a power puncher or one-punch guy against top competition. He always overwhelmed with volume. When he lost to Williams, I believe they felt to get where they needed to be..and FAST (because Williams had derailed them after not being able to secure big fights in the first place) they had to gain an advantage. Next fight against a usually durable Golden Johnson...TKO 1st round. Next fight, bodyshot KO to a guy who he couldnt KO the first time but Cintron broke down mentally. Next fight, beat brakes off Cotto, a durable guy who was not known for swelling.

Now I cant say Arum knew about the gloves...because that wouldve worked against him being that Cotto was his top guy....unless he did it to generate more interest because he didnt have big fights to make at the time in that division. :ohhh:
