you are absolutely right, that is my opinion purely. not trying to force it on anyone. I have never been pushing for FMJ vs Canelo or Serge. I dont think FMJ should fight guys like that. What for? Money, yeah, but I mean if those guys were to beat FMJ I wouldnt give them that much credit for it.
There is a point where you are asking too much, and thats the point for FMJ I think. He fought Cotto and Oscar right? That was just 2 welters fighting each other at super welter, Oscar and Shane did it too, but what happened when Shane went against Winky? A great bigger man. Not the same thing. (remember when FMJ and Winky had that war of words?)
Not saying FMJ wouldnt win, he likely would, but I dont think he has anything to prove by facing those guys at 154. The reason why I'd rather not see FMJ fight guys like that is because if he loses, everyone will say he wasnt this and wasnt that and he's a paper champ.

There are sooooo many overhyped fighters today and some of the best fighters are little known. Angulo was one of those that I never liked from the beginning. Too much hype to be an ordinary fighter. I really didnt like him after he left GSP. GSP was responsible for hyping him up and as soon as he got up he showed no loyalty. So yeah, serves him right if he signed with GBP to be a lamb.
Also, not sure where public opinion lies here among Coli brehs, but I am NOT a Canelo fan. Overhyped as shyt. I thought Cotto was bad (HBO bias was ridiculous), but Cotto actually had a decent career. I dont know if Canelo would be as good.

Canelo is hyped but I see good qualities in him....he throws good combinations wit power
