I like the Yarde vs Benavidez fight, I’m not completely sold on Benavidez as a top 175er yet.

He’s very talented and I thought Morrell was a good scalp for him but at the same time Morrell is also rather a 168er who moved up just because Canelo made his mind up to not fight top 168ers and most belt organizations let it slide.

Benavidez’s fight against a past his prime, second career Gvozdyk raised some questions about his ceiling at 175. I’m not sure if Yarde has the tank to last if he can’t make Benavidez honest but we’ve seen him doing very well against Beterbiev (another pressure fighter) in his last showing against higher level opponent.

Idk why Yarde vs Callum Smith or Buatsi before are not happening since now the political barriers are removed but anyway I welcome this unexpected but intriguing fight.

Gvodyzk was winning the Beterbiev fight and everybody in the section I was in thought so until the last two rounds. I don’t know why we keep acting like he’s a slouch
