So I went to the fight.

This has kinda felt like the biggest fight Vegas has had in quite some time and yet it still felt like something was missing. It a big fight and there were lots of celebrities around and yet it still didn't feel that BIG........I'd wager it's because Crawford really didn't bring much to the table. Sure, there were a good amount of people who came out for Crawford but he isn't a household name that truly moves people.

The fight festivities being at the FontaineBleu as opposed to the MGM made it feel different than any fight I've ever been to. FontaineBleu is super nice but the North strip isn't totally built up yet so you don't get as much foot traffic in that area and it's so far away from Allegiant or any other casino which made it a bit strange.

I had a press pass to the fight but the seating was so awful for the press at Allegiant stadium that I literally purchased a ticket while inside the arena on stubhub so I could get a better seat on the 100 level. There's no reason press should be on the 400 level of a stadium during a boxing match. I could barely see the screen let alone the ring and I was about to go just go to the bar or home to watch the game before I decided that since I'm here, I want to witness history in person and I bought a ticket while inside the arena.

A $100 level seat cost me $1200 bucks and I felt like it was well worth it for the magnitude/history of the event.

No expense was spared by Turki and they had a free program/fight package on every seat which I've never seen at any other fight.

When I got to my seat, Cuttino Mobley and Hector from Training Day were about to fight and I had to break it up. Random, I know.

The merch for the fight was really dope. They were even selling replicas of the Ring Magazne Belt for $750.

It did feel like Bud sucked the life out of the stadium with his dominance.......It never really felt like Canelo had a shot after about the 8th or 9th round.

Overall I enjoyed it but I really don't need boxing in a stadium.

And when I got there the Main Card first fight was almost over and Merch line was crazy and seems they only had one merch area for a place that big, so I just ordered a Tee from WWE.com

Y’all know I’m a fairly new boxing fan and tryna learn thru history and past fights

I was born in 98, I can say whole-heartedly Bud is the best boxer I ever seen with my own eyes not counting anyone born before I could really start watching

My top 5 ever from what I seen in boxing history tho no order

SRL
Hitman
Bud
GGG
Roy

I’m a bit biased towards smaller fighters since I’m not a heavy weight nikka

Endeavour Company / TKO Group / UFC / White - They don't care about you as a journalist, in fact they'd prefer you didn't exist, as they can't control your narrative.

The Ring magazine belt is just a promotional tool for Riyadh now, it has no real value aside from function as a Saudi tool.

Nice to witness Bud dominate however, well played getting the ticket.

It wasn't a sell out so some sections you'd have whole rows of seats with no one sitting next to you with a bunch of programs. I regret not grabbing multiple.

Yeah the Merch line was insane. I was gonna buy something but the line was way too long. They were selling merch at the grand arrivals so that was really the time to buy....

I've been working in Korea last 18 months on and off, I'm a cinematographer, various projects, one of which is more a passion project in between other work, profiling a former 160 world champ from Korea. I'll tell you right now, they go hard as nails in training, my sparring days are long over (too many concussions and a bike accident that put a total stop to it), but the level over there is exceptional, so many gyms, its a travesty they haven't had as much of a look in as far as the world rankings go. Koreans are big too, not just the lighter weights, plenty of big motherfukkers.
