Boxing is so upsidedown right now. MVP gets a deal while Top Rank and Golden Boy are begging for scraps to get on TV.
Changing of the guard...
Tony is on hard times I see, dude still sore about his loss.
Still, Tony sonned that dummy so fukking bad in the press conference, that he lost all his speech patterns and motor skills.Tony's brain is scrambled eggs at this point.

I rather Shakur go after big fights that naturally would come about. Going after Ryan seems manufactured. I don't want him to be another Haney where he flies too close to the sun trying to be a household name, and falls victim to Ryan Garcia's circus
Maybe he sees his big bro Bud not get his recognition until later in his career and wants the opposite. But Shakur should just chase legacy fights that will eventually turn into big fights. Him vs Abdullah Mason in 2 years would be a huge fight. A fight with Gary Antoine Russell would be big. Shakur getting Undisputed and cleaning up 135 and 140 would matter more than chasing Ryang Garcia
never thought I'd see women's boxing moving the needle like that to get an ESPN deal, I just can't get into it like that. Besides the lack of power/KOs, the same rythm/cadence round after round gets boring.
I remember those struggle nights...I cannot romanticize that guy's career...he was death at the box office bro lol. You know what's funny is i thought he beat valuev..like clear as day both times but politics got that belt off him for good.
Vs Oquendo is literally one of the worst HW fights I ever watch..so much it ended in a mercy stoppage lol. And he lost to Golota IMO.
Random but whenever yall discuss weight classes…how do yall generally classify it?
Example do yall say
130, Junior lightweight, or Super featherweight ?

Dude wasting his career that Nelo money stretches far in Texas. Yeah dude should get in the mix plenty of people he could fight Tim KAZOOO, Jeff Horn, Bakir, Rashidi Ellis, Danny Garcia(if he's still fighting), Abas, Giovani Santillan, Brandon Adams or he needs to move to 160 there's plenty of work up there.Jermell needs to try and get ranked, he wants the easy way in but in boxing it dont work that way if your name isnt big enough. his just isnt...mainly because he hasnt fought in 3 years. with all the names in and around 154....he is just too much risk vs reward. is he afraid of 160?

I say the weight, less confusion. if I do give the name, I go with the junior variation, mainly because most bodies use that. only the WBC uses the Super variation.
sn: its always an interesting topic because I think it provides a mental note. half empty/full type thing. if you say Super WW, thats denoting that a fighter is too big for WW. if you say junior MW, it is viewed as someone not big enough for MW.
