I think Fonfara's chin, heart, an overall toughness is being severely underrated here.

When's the last time we saw someone take that type of punishment in a fight and last the distance let alone make a fight out of it towards the end?

That is a whole lot of typing just to point out Stevenson was gassed. 95% of the things people are claiming exposed him can be chalked up to the fact that dude needs to work on his stamina and conditioning.

To say Stevenson's lack of defense, head movement, & footwork was due to his stamina is almost blasphemous @Jello Biafra

True and I wouldn't even put Figueroa in the same class as Stevenson when it comes to power punching. He's more of a volume guy with good pop. Figueroa looked awful in his last fight an was more exposed than nikkas is saying Adonis was.

Arakawa had feather dusters and was just a game tough guy. Everybody watching knew he never had a chance to turn that fight around. At least Fonfara had the haters feeling justified during a couple moments.

I think Andrade took more punishment against Kessler. That's a fight where somebody took hard crisp one two all night until the final bell.

I had no problem with his offense, even if it was kind of brutal at points late in the fight, he did do GREAT body work in there. It was his lack of defense, head movement, footwork, stamina, and suspect chin which pulled me over to the Hopkins side though.

Nobody's saying that Stevenson was "exposed".....the article did.


I've posted NUMEROUS things that I seen from the fight that are weaknesses in Stevenson that can be exploited by a great boxer. Bernard Hopkins just so happens to be this great boxer that can do it.


Somebody mind telling me, outside of KO'ng Hopkins, how can Stevenson win?
