algieri would box the breaks off of broner :wow:
easily, no contest.
Guess who coming to avenge that Paulie fight
:salute:

I'm #BandCamp all day, but that nikka is all wrong for Broner. I'd honestly give Broner a better chance at beating Maidana in a rematch than I would Algeri. He's too big, too busy, too athletic, and his defense is too solid.
Broner would have to show another dimension to his style for me to pick him against #AlgieriAssassins :blessed:

This is exactly why I said AB is now officially underrated:wow:

I will NOT let y'all live this down if The Problem gets his opportunity to fight him.

I don't wanna hear "he was supposed to win", "Algieri is a bum".....I ain't accepting NO EXCUSES especially when y'all saying right now that Algieri beats Broner :birdman:

Y'all did the same shyt with Antonio Demarco, AB went and punished him, and then it was "Broner ain't beat nobody":comeon:

He beats PDL, and it's "PDL ain't shyt and it was close"....regardless of PDL captured another title after losing to AB:snoop:

He beats Paulie Malignaggi and it's "bu-bu-bu Paulie ain't nothing":usure:

Algieri will beat Broner is what y'all saying..... then stick to it:demonic:

Adrien Broner aka "The Problem" aka AB aka "About Billions" aka "Always Ballin" aka "Alotta Burberry" aka "The Can Man Because Anybody CAN GET It" aka "Still Mr. HBO Even Though I Fight On Showtime".....soon to be Champion at 140 for his 4th Division Championship:ohlawd:

#BandCamp

It felt like Ruslan was coasting off that 1st round with those 2 knockdowns. Algieri woke up and was like the fukking energizer bunny floating around that ring for the entire match and just just tagging with from a distance. I was hoping Ruslan would win too but he just comes off as heavy footed to me and takes too many punches when trying to cut the ring off or move in.

But man.. Algieri's eye was not looking good :wow:

Thoughts this morning on last night:

Caught Max Kellerman with a funny comment in the Sergio-Cotto fight. "Athletic fighters don't have the pure technical skills to rely upon when they get older". Roy sat there and didn't say anything for the rest of the round.

Posted a couple days ago how I love watching Prov fight. He can be beaten, and isn't the super boogeyman (unless you decide to fight him toe to toe), he doesn't fight as well if you move, but he will always make it a tough and rough affair.

Personally I had Prov winning 115-111...checked ESPN this morning and found they had the same scorecard...so not completely crazy. Definitely could see a scorecard for Algieri as well. I found the CompuBox numbers crazy during the fight at how big of an advantage Algieri had. Many of the rounds, particularly in the first half, I never would have guessed the advantage was so bad, because Prov was landing hard punches and Algieri was landing volume pitty pat's...he stood down more on his punches later.

Algieri has a style that would be interesting to see how others handle. He is in constant motion, never wants to engage or sit on his punches. It is a really difficult style to judge and could make fights against better fighters closer than they should be.
Algieri will always be in shape and used his nutrition degree to his advantage. Guy look like he cut weight perfectly and looked huge compared to Prov....speaking of which Andrade looked like a 160 or 168 lb'er in there at 154.

Garcia To Roach: I Guess This Drunk Knows About Boxing

By Bill "Two Scoops" Emes

More than likely, trainer Robert Garcia had a big smile on his face when he jabbed back at fellow coach, Freddie Roach.

Last night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Roach's fighter Ruslan Provodnikov lost his WBO junior welterweight championship, by way of a split decision, to undefeated challenger Chris Algieri.

In several pre-fight interviews, Garcia gave Algieri a good shot of unseating the heavily favored champion from Siberia. In the past, Algieri spent time in Garcia's gym located in Oxnard, California.

Roach, who on several occasions in the past traded words with the Oxnard trainer, took offense to Garcia's analysis that Algieri could pull off a big upset.

"If any of his guys want it after this - they can line up too. What the f*** does he know about boxing? Who is he.....drunk," Roach told BoxingScene.com in a video interview several days before the fight.

"[Marcos] Maidana gave Mayweather a fight for four rounds and then Mayweather took over. Then his other boy was a punching bag for my guy, Manny Pacquiao. I'm not impressed by either one. We'll fight either one of them if they want to fight us in the next fight."

Garcia shot back, following Algieri's big victory.

"I guess this drunk does know a little about boxing, Freddie Roach."

:wow:
