He has the tools to be a force, he just has to use em.

Exactly. I hope he does, I'm a fan.

I wonder if he can actually humble himself to make improvements and become a better fighter each time out. And no one knows that answer to that but Broner himself.

But as far as the tools at his disposal, he's as talented as anyone @ 140.

AB averaged 61 punches thrown a round against Carlos Molina landing at 43%:sas1:

Even threw 96 punches in round 7:sas2:

I agree though, he HAS to let his hands go. He throws beautiful combinations and connects so cleanly, but he has to take that same mindset he had against Molina about throwing tons of punches, and keep it for future fights:manny:

This the thing with Broner letting his hands go against Molina, his quality of punches is what lacked in that fight. He touched dude for sure, but he wasn't sitting down on a lot of those punches where they had the same force as the ones that were turning Paulie into a bobble head toy.

It's just like Trout (well not as bad) how he throws those half hearted punches and then finally throws a hard one. The only difference is Broner be landing his shoe shine arm punches.

It's true.....you're not lying breh.

I was just happy to see him throwing more punches though. Gotta build back up that confidence first and then he'll be all the way back.

He's too good offensively, and not great enough defensively, to throw 20-30 punches a round imo

What is the rumor mill for #swiftset next opponent? Haven't heard anything, so I'm not expecting a big name opponent.

The plan was for the fight to be in Philly N Danny's last fight at 140

Rumored opponent was some scrub ass nikka but he was rumored to be the March opponent N didn't get it then... so I don't believe its goin be him this time either

Fight I would really like to see is him vs. Peterson. DC isn't that far from Philly.
The fact that this is supposed to be his last fight at 140 and no names from the rumor mill (that I've heard), I doubt he schedules someone of that caliber.

Peterson hasn't fought since January so its possible... Id like it so Swift can finally officially get that IBF belt that should already be his N be seen as undisputed in the record books

Itll also Give Garcia more experience against a good boxer
