#swiftset wasn't afraid of Matthysse when he was godzilla

Why would I be scary after this??:russ:

Seriously tho...had it been Danny who was dropped N eye broke...N then on his comeback fight dropped twice NOBODY would be asking for a rematch:stopitslime:
A close 1-3 point fight (realistically) was cool, but it won't happen again. T-2000 is ready.

However, after the battle, Matthysse got off the canvas twice to stop Molina BRUTALLY

Garcia got his nose broke and outboxed by Mauricio Herrera

Postol is gonna fukk Garcia up breh......

Broner was dirty, but Chino is on a whole other level of dirty, doing blatant jumping headbutts that could get him disqualified, dude just gives zero fukks......
Not denying the headbutt, but you clearly didn't see Broner clamping down on Maidana's arms like he was trying to do a guillotine after the second knockdown, not giving him any room to move whatsoever?

In Maidana's mind, he was trying to get out of that illegal clinch since dumbass Cole wasn't gonna break it. And let's not forget Broner's sad acting attempt after the headbutt. He deserved that ass whooping that night.

Yep...for MATTHYSSE that's what I'd rather see over Matthysse vs Peterson 2. He destroyed Peterson, I'd rather see him fight Garcia again.

As far as Garcia goes, I'd rather his final fight at 140 be against Mauricio Herrera again instead of Gabriel Bracero:snoop:
Herrera is fighting Johan Perez on the Canelo-Lara PPV for the interim WBA 140 belt which would put him in line for the shot at Garica's belt if he wins (which I really want him to do because I am still pissed at that gift decision Perez got over the homie Stevie Forbes).

True, but I believe the fight against Gabriel Bracero is Danny Garcia's last fight at 140.

Viktor Postol is already the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC belt and if Herrera wins, he'll be a mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBA belt (like Perez is currently) with him being the "interim" champion.

Garcia will beat Bracero, move up to 147, and drop the WBA/WBC 140 belts and Lucas Matthysse/Adrien Broner/Ruslan Provodnikov/Chris Algieri/Mauricio Herrera/Lamont Peterson/Viktor Postol will have to fight it out for the remaining belts

I can believe that Bracero would be Swift's farewell to 140 fight because they are talking about having it in Philly and the last time they tried to put on a "coronation" type event with Danny he ended up in an ugly struggle bout against Herrera.
I figure his team will want to have Danny's send off be an impressive one-sided win with no real chance of going off script.

Bracero is a come forward fighter, with no real power, and fits what Danny does perfectly imo.

No "surprises" this time. I expect a clear cut victory and most likely a KO victory for Garcia

Hopefully it's actually a fight.

Last "big" fight in Philly was over 10 years ago, B-Hop v. Morrade Hakkar. Terrible fight, think B-Hop may have been promoting himself during this time. Who remembers this?

Philly is owed a big fight with actual intrigue, the Rocky movies don't count.

I've tried to forget that abortion of a fight with Hopkins and Hakkar. nikka ran around the ring for the whole first round. :mjlol: I think his promoter eventually stopped it.

Only thing memorable was Rahman dropping Tua in the last seconds of their rematch, but I can't remember if it counted or not.

Terrible night of boxing. My pops threw the remote at me for hogging the tv for that shyt. :snoop:
