you're one of the cats i rock with when you say some shyt but i can't go along with a scenario outside of a lucky punch of billy dib beating gary russell..dib struggles with faded fighters and lost his title clearly to a last min replacement who was going on vacation and who later, trained properly, beat the breaks off him in a rematch..can't do it breh :smh:

See that's what you're failing to understand fam. Dib lost or looked bad against all of them nikkas because they had more PRO experience against BETTER or on the SAME LEVEL opponents as themselves. Russell at that time HASN'T. That would have been Russell's step up fight. Not just another random can. I mean if that fight would have came off, I would have still picked Russell to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if it would have been an ugly close fighter with either guy taking it. I'm not hyping Dib breh. I'm just saying he wouldn't come to lay down like everyone else and could have given Gary some problems. That fight was a major risk. Gary's people knew that, but for some reason you don't wanna acknowledge it.

Remember you rock with me, because I keep it 1000 with every fighter regardless of who I like or can't stand and regardless of any shade that will be thrown my way. I'm being dead serious. Dib wasn't worth the risk and it wouldn't done shyt for Russel and their was the chance he could have lost as well.

And there's no such thing as a lucky punch in boxing. If you train to throw punches and finally land the right one, then you did what you're supposed to do. Luck has shyt to do with it. I'll never dismiss any punch as being lucky because I respect the science and dedication to get it right too much.

why would you turn down billy dib :dwillhuh:

that would of been easy work, wish i knew about his previous fukkery before picking him against loma

I didnt even read it until today....I would've picked Loma as well:heh:

I take back what I said about Gary Russell Jr too:ufdup:

If people in the know are whispering about your ambition, you turning down fights for Championships, asking the networks for 8 rounders instead of 10 rounders, always saying your hands hurt to get out of fights with tougher competition.....all I can say is, where there's smoke there's fire.

I would've picked Loma:manny:

I'm probably the only one that's giving Gamboa a real shot to beat Crawford on Saturday.

I think from a skill/style standpoint, I'd have to give Yuri the edge. This is a way better matchup for him than Mikey G to be honest. Only thing that has me hesitant is the size. Crawford is the much bigger guy (he's built like a JWW), and while Yuri is a very good fighter, he doesn't really belong at 135 at all.. He's a featherweight fighter.

At this very, I think I'd go with Crawford. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gamboa steps up and gets the W.

I think if Gamboa keeps busy his work rate and speed can pose problems for Crawford who sometimes fights a little too composed. I think Gamboa just outgrew Featherweight. He's always been a stocky dude and being as inactive as he is he'll always gain weight quickly. I think jr lightweight should have been his limit though.

I think Crawford wins too, but I'd be surprised if he straight up dominated Yuri.

Guys, Tua has been unfaithful. I think we should let him know that this hurts our feelings.
