Crawford doesnt have fast hands? :snoop:

I would say his hands are faster than AB. He is definitely a more responsible defensive fighter. AB needs to throw that philly shell in the bushes. :dead:
I didnt say it was an easy fight but Crawford is simply a better boxer and the style AB has doesnt suit him. Paulie's hand speed gave dude fits. I wouldnt sleep on Crawford's power. He is no knockout puncher he he can crack and he goes to the body well. You just cant lean back and wait to counter him.

You make it seem like AB and TC werent fighting at the same weight a lil over a year ago? :mjpls: they are virtually the same size....somewhere between 135-140 comfortable weight. AB is no WW. Even if his hands were just as fast as Gamboa, he doesnt use them the same way. He stands flat footed. Its a good fight, but based on skill and style Crawford is just more solid all around.

Breh......we've already been over this last year:manny:

Crawford's defense and ability to get caught cleanly and repeatedly by a much smaller Gamboa with short arms until Gamboa got tired was glaring over the first 4 rounds. AB doesn't gas out like Gamboa though and yes, he DOES have faster hands and quickness than Crawford......plus defense.

Broner is a better fighter than the midget Gamboa and again, a tired Gamboa was able to put Crawford's legs on wobble, so I know his chin isn't made of iron either.

It's a good matchup, but I didn't feel see anything from him that would make me choose him over Broner.

Hell, a lot of people had him receiving a clear boxing lesson until Gamboa got tired:mjpls:

he is a problem for all of those guys. Gamboa has tremendous speed...something none of them have. he is also a better boxer than all of those guys. the thing about Crawford is...he will adjust to the style in front of him. he doesnt fight the same way every fight. he had to be cautious of Gamboa early because of the speed. Bradley would stand the best chance. I could see him outworking Crawford. Prov just got the shyt boxed outta him by a lesser fighter than Crawford. If Rios uses his boxing skill he should beat Chaves. if he dont, Chaves is gonna fukk him up.
Your boy is a good fighter but don't throw out shyt like he'd beat Bradley or JMM. Slow ya roll homie

I had plans last night so I left midway though the fight when Gamboa was still doing well then I watched the recording of it this morning and everything just went to shyt.:bryan:
Crawford made adjustments and not only did Gamboa not do the same but he seemed to completely forgo using any of his skills as a boxer instead just trying to walk in on Crawford to disastrous results.
Not ready to give up on him completely though because he fought a damn near Jr Middlweight with nice skills last night.
I think 50 needs to get dude a new trainer first and Gamboa could still possibly do good things at Lightweight.

And Crawford is gonna be trouble for a lot of dudes when he moves up in weight.

One thing I noticed last night and was them talking about the slippery ring and it causing problems for Gamboa. I don't think the ring had anything to do with it.

From the get go, Yuri just look sloppy on his feet, even when he was outboxing Crawford. I think it has to do with his size. He's just really big and bulky for a small guy, and the way his muscle was proportioned just fukked up his balance. His physique worked against him. Much like how Bradley is always stumbling around, especially when the action is heating up.

I remember @patscorpio alluding to this, boxers really shouldn't have the bodybuilding frame, because all of that muscle mass works against them.

Mikey Garcia should have taken that gamble and fought Gamboa. I don't think he would have been as big of a favorite as Crawford, but he had the countering and overall boxing skills to win. nikka thought he was a super star and wanted mad money. :snoop:. How you going to be fast tracked to a Manny fight and then want to avoid a guy like Gamboa. :what:
It was the other way around breh Gamboa wanted as much as Garcia. Garcia would have beat the shyt out of Gamboa like Crawford did

Gamboa been in struggle fights for the past 3 years breh, Mikey would have put the beats on him

Breh I picked Garcia to beat him too, you not saying anything new. My point is he should have tried harder to make it happen whether if he had to take less money or not. Nobody has any actual specifics when it came to money. It seemed like both were asking for more than they deserved. Garcia ain't really drawing fans or ratings like that. Gamboa been having struggling fights recently. They both should have chilled.

Garcia missed out on a start making performance and Crawford got that opportunity and made it into a FOTY while Garcia on the sidelines with no fight on the horizon.
