I've read plenty of books from dopers, and one of them, I want to say it was Canseco's, cited Andro Fuel (the OTC product at the time) as being downright laughable as the real cause for performance boost. High testosterone levels are a good indicator of PED usage, but because testosterone is only boosted to make better usage of the other stuff your on.

Even CYCLING had a ban on hemocrit levels above 50 as far back as the late 90's. Blood hemocrit (along with VO2max) are the two easiest measurements of an athletes endurance level, and Shane had a hemocrit higher than what was allowed of a doped up Tour de France champion.
Put it this way, when he fought Oscar, Shane had a higher potential for sustained effort than Lance Armstrong.

Well, "ripped fuel" was the excuse he gave (saying it must've been in that)....he tested positive for androstenedione (or Andro as Mark McGwire & Mike Piazza called it).
It's a PED breh, it just wasn't banned at that time in Boxing, but no Boxer today will be allowed to enter the ring with Andro in their system.

Not technically, he wasn't cheating at all. Every athlete uses performance enhancing drugs, shyt if you use protein powder with BCAA's or any nutritional supplement, you're using performance enhancing drugs.
The question is (just like basketball and other team sports) given the conditions (ie time and rules during that time etc), could Ward beat RJJ?
