I have no issue with this.. Chavez aint on Canelo level.. Dont get me wrong, he got a popular name, but he aint put in the work for anyone to believe he got any leverage.. He will never make $6 million against anybody else

He can fight Zurdo on ppv tomorrow get 3 million guarantee N the lion share of ppv N get more then 6 milly total :umad:

Deal with it :Jccjr:

I'm just amazed at Canelo's contract. Dude receives all but 20% of Golden Boy's PPV revenue for everyone one of his fights:wow:

Which is why Oscar trying to flex on The Mexican Hero.... DLH needs as much money out this as he can get:mjlol:

Only problem is The Great One already went toe to toe with the Jew God himself N won....How Tf Is a cross dressing Coke addict gonna finesse Jccjr when Bob couldn't

Supposedly Canelo vs Khan did 600k

Jccjr vs Canelo might jus reach a Milly depending on promo :manny:

I'd love for Canelo to fight a Curtis Stevens N Jccjr fight another 168 guy in February...Mexican Hero runs up on Canelo post fight :smugjccjr:

Canelo N Chavez Jr N DLH N Sr all in the ring talking shyt....Mexicans would lose they god damn minds

The biggest difference I saw in Chavez performance was that he fought like he had respect for the sport.

He wasn't just walking with his hands down or taking breaks every 30 secs or inviting nikkas to tee off on him. He fought a decent C level guy and took him serious. Jabbed, moved his head, went to the body, pressured when he had to, boxed when he had to, etc....

If they gave them nikkas a doubleheader against decent guys like you said, and allowed them to face off afterwards, it's possible that event can make a mil in ppv in sales or at least get around 800k-900k

Do some good promo and have a good co main event, and they all set. I'm actually low key excited about that fight.

nikkas is tired of Canelo fighting all these no hopers, and it really looks bad now that GGG got the Jacobs fight. They can't deflect with the whole, but, but but GGG fighting bums too angle. You already see his fans thinking he Floyd when he aint' fight nowhere near as many dangerous or credible opponents as Floyd.

Canelo hasn't fought a real 50/50 fight since Lara. With all of Cottos skills, he was still undersized and most knowledgeable cats picked him to lose (I know I did)

Chavez aint even a 50/50 fight to me, more like 60/40 Canelo favor, but at least he's' fighting a guy that poses a size and power challenge and who has also shared the ring with top opponents. Smith wasn't shyt and Khan should have lost to #AlgieriAssassins.

So I hear the deal being offered to Chavez Jr is/was

6 Milly + ppv upside (no split)

Chavez can make an additional 4 million if the ppv does over 1 million buys...GBP thinks it can do a Milly

$70 x 1 Milly = 70 Milly
Half goes to distribution

So out of 35 Milly.... GBP wants to give The Mexican hero 4 Milly N keep 31 million :scust:

Get all the way the fukk outta here:pacspit:
Deal is straight doo doo grits

1.says that ibo championship that jr is apart of is the new and improved way for boxers to unify with other abc belts faster than the contender method.:ehh:

2.says jr doesn't get a lot of sharp kos(j.jackson type) because he has a lot of padding on his gloves which protects the first two knuckles. but also says that the blows are more concussive over time which is why Blackwell went into a coma. says the refs gets fooled into thinking the opponents are not hurt cause jr is not kding them a whole bunch them basically.:ehh:

3.says that ward only threw 35 punches vs kkkova-L which leads him to believe somehow that jr can beat ward/ggg/kkkova-L because everyone from 160-175 has too little output/volume to compete. says if jr follows strategy/training he will be unbeaten.:skip:

4.says ggg fight didn't happen because hearn advised him they could triple ticket prices at o2 instead of at wembley.(in response to hearn saying it didn't happen because eubank wanted to double ticket prices)

says he wanted barry mcguigan to commentate ggg/eubank but they/hearn didn't.:jbhmm:

5.say bjs rematch wont happen cause bjs manager/promoter(frank warren) will not work with him at all. says frank and hearn don't like(and spread rumors on) him cause they want to take his son from under him and make money off of him like they did him.:ohhh:

:mjlol: at you believing Chavez fighting anyone not named Canelo(an maybe ggg) on ppv

Chavez Jr fought some cac named John Duddy on PPV....shyt did damn near the same as GGG vs Lemeuix :aicmon:

The Great One got PPV #s 70k & 80k & 90k all by himself fighting the elote man on Them Latin Fury Cards

You're fukking delusional if you don't think Zurdo Ramirez 168 WBO champ N The Mexican Hero couldn't sell at least 150k

Again facts are facts Jccjr is a fukkin draw...he is a cash cow... Errybody wants to fight him for a reason

6 Milly ain't shyt...#mexicanhero can make that easily:smugjccjr:

Deal With it :Jccjr:

I don't really care about this Chavez vs Canelo story and the percentages tbh, cause I don't care about lil Chavez in general. Just get over it, Canelo beats him and then I hope we can finally forget about that guy...

Sorry @ChocolateGiddyUp :manny:

so wait.....it's 6 mil, ppv upside. and supposedly an extra 4 mil if the fight does over 1 mil???.....shiiiit. if jr is the draw we think, then he should be confident in doing over 1 mil with canelo. with the ppv upside, he could make upwards of 12-15 mil. plus you know he's gonna eat off them mexican ppv's.

Amir Khan: Kell Brook fight is close

A British super-fight at welterweight between Kell Brook and Amir Khan is getting nearer to completion, according to one of the partipants.

Khan, 30, is ready to sign on the dotted line to face Brook in one of the most anticipating clashes on UK soil in recent times and says the pair are on the verge of an agreement.

"Talks are happening at the moment and we’re waiting on Brook’s team getting back to us," Khan told The Daily Mirror

That fight will sell out a stadium and is the biggest fight in British boxing. It’s been talked about for so long but now it’s close."

Brook lost out to Gennady Golovkin in September in a fight voted the Best Event of 2016 by the World Boxing Council, whilst Khan was also nominated for his defeat to Canelo Alvarez in May.

A contest has long been talked about between the two fighters, both of whom have been world champions in their own right, and now stand to make millions by finally putting pen to paper.

Regarding Khan's statement on a venue, promoter Eddie Hearn faces something of a headache as Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko have already agreed to a date of April 29 at Wembley Stadium.

Staging two massive bouts on separate occasions at the famous National Stadium is not usually the norm, although Hearn won't want to put the two fights on the same bill as they are headliners in their own right.

The Brook v Khan encounter may now be likely to take place over the summer, with the possibilty of the pair fighting warm-ups on the Joshua v Klitschko bill a consideration for Hearn moving forward.
