We'd really need two different awards though cause a good pub fight (Whyte vs Chisora, Salido vs Vargas) is very entertaining but so is a tense chess match between two highly skilled fighters (Ward vs Kovalev, J Rock vs Charlo) and the two gives different kind of entertainment, comparing them is like comparing apples with oranges imo plus the Rafael like meatheads only gonna really appreciate the former category.I gotta disagree with you on that.
The best fight awards are for the best fights. Its not called the most significant fights of the year.
Ward and Kovalev was significant for the sport and was intense, but that shyt don't belong nowhere near a fukking best fight of the year list. shyt was a dud entertainment wise (at least for me, cuz I know some nikkas get off by watching 2 nikkas pose and posture for 12 fukking rounds and the final combined punch total is barely 800)
That was pretty damn good list tho.
I almost forgot about the fukkery from that JuanMa fight.
