40 Cal had moved up to 175 by then, had already dominated the 2 best SMWs (prime Jeff Lacy and then prime Mikkel Kessler later and took both their 0s) at the time of his retirement...plus he was 37. No need to fight on against young pups when you already proved you were the best in the division twice

Eish bruh got me. Him joining the super 16 tournament woulda been dope. But what I wanted to see most was an all English derby vs Froch or a Kessler rematch. Unfortunately he was getting up there in age and he moved up to 175. Still wanted that match between him and froch (though Joe definitely wins). Those 2 could go 15 rounds with their conditioning and the fukkery woulda been nuts
