See this is really my only real dislike for Ward. I have never really hated on him in the truest sense, just having a little fun. Always give him his props and say that an active Ward deserved to be number 1 PFP (regardless of the Kovalev fight) as long as Floyd isn't active. But folks hate on GGG for the HBO/media hype...that is how I view Ward here. You are allowed to go at any fighter in here without criticism, but if you go at Ward in the slightest it isnt viewed as typical Coli fukkery, but rather some personal bias or hate. Nah, Ward may be exceptional in the ring, but he doesn't get a pass from the fukkery of The Ring. The Ring's fukkery is meant to be dealt to all fighters and stan sets...and then we come back together and talk rationally. That is what makes this place so great.Algieri won an SD....SOG won a UD.

To put it in further perspective, if the NY judge (from Algieri's hometown), hadn't gave Algieri the 12th round....the fight would've been a draw. But yet, I've never heard any on here say "Algieri needs to run it back...look at his face, look at Prov's"

In regards to your post, I think maybe why (at least in my case) people are demanding Ward-Kovalev more than say Provodnikov-Algieri is beacuse it means more. Sure Prov-Algieri was a close and debatable decision, but if they rebooted a second time it wouldn't have meant anything other than an interesting fight. I want to see Ward-Kovalev 2 because the first was a close debatable decision and it is arguably the most meaningful fight in boxing. Winner deserves to be PFP #1. So damn right if the first fight was disputable we want to see a rematch and honestly their doesn't seem to be any real barriers from making it.

GGG and SOG are not even remotely alike in the way they have moved in their careers OR they way they are discussed
GGG was a silver medalist....SOG was a gold medalist.
GGG beat a nobody & was gifted his 1st Championship....SOG had to enter a tournament, and then had to beat the #1 ranked guy in the division for his as the underdog.
GGG has never even beaten an A fighter in his division....SOG cleared his own division, moved up to the next man's division, and beat the guy who was ranked #2 P4P while holding 3 of the 4 Championships there. Same person his haters claimed SOG wouldn't move up to fight....he did. And he won. And now they even madder than before.
GGG is protected by the Boxing media....the same Boxing media who slanders SOG.
So, yeah. It sounds like personal bias or hate, whichever you prefer to call it, when people say random stuff about SOG that's far from true. You CANT talk down on his resume. You CANT talk about a loss he took. You CANT say he's immature or gets in trouble out the ring. You CANT talk about him missing weight or playing scale games. You CANT say he's dragging up fighters from 2 divisions below to fight them. You CANT talk about anything bad about SOG as a fighter, especially when every single fighter & trainer in the game gives him props for being one of the best fighters period. Only on the internet do people talk down on SOG, and it's always personal bias or hate. Other than that, what's there to dislike about Ward?
