"Bu-bu-but, AB isn't as relevant as you say he is Newzz:mjcry:"

779k average going up against All-Star Saturday Night while fighting a guy most people haven't heard of outside of hardcore heads, and doing #'s on Showtime instead of free TV to just prove his draw factor:banderas:

Im waiting on the peak numbers though:ahh:

#AboutBillions

:aboutbillions:

This is one of the main reasons nikka hate #AboutBillions

Dude constantly pulls in good numbers against tough no name nikkas while other boxers gotta fight p4p level cats just so nikkas can give a damn, only for their fights to do average to below average numbers.

Then he turns around and promotes cats that can do the same thing he does.

Its like inception fukkery within fukkery

Hopefully, that can translate into a mega PPV fight with him vs Pacquiao this year.

That's the #1 fight I want to see him in, because it would be a big event for Boxing

Manny struggle ass cards need a boost only guy he can do real numbers with at this point is AB. I wanna see Crawford vs Manny but Bud ain't on AB level when it comes to attracting eye balls I admit that Manny vs Broner more marketable

Those are the type of fights the public needs to see on PPV....fights between top draws. Combine their fanbases, and that's how we get big fights (i.e. Canelo/Chavez, regardless of what we think of the matchup, is a big PPV fight due to their fanbases).

I would empty the piggy bank to be in Vegas the entire week for that, Im not even gonna lie:heh:

Yup, and lately Manny's undercards have been more interesting than his actual fights.

He needs that Broner stimulus package now.

Boxing deserves a ppv event that will actually turn into an entertaining fight for a change.

Broner: I Spoke to Bob Arum Recently About Making Pacquiao Fight
By Keith Idec

Adrien Broner indicated early Sunday morning that he has spoken recently with promoter Bob Arum about making a bout between him and Manny Pacquiao.

Representatives for both boxers talked last year, but negotiations didn’t progress because Broner wanted a higher guarantee than Arum was willing to pay him. Broner says Arum now appears more willing to pay him the undisclosed figure he believes he is worth and is encouraged about the possibility of that pay-per-fight taking place later this year.

Broner (33-2, 24 KOs) also said during the post-fight press conference following his hard-fought, split-decision victory over Adrian Granados (18-5-2, 12 KOs) on Saturday night in Cincinnati that he wants to make the most money possible for his upcoming fights to properly support his kids. A fight against Pacquiao would meet that objective, even if Broner doesn’t get his exact asking price.

“What’s up, Bob?,” Broner said, referring to Arum. “We just got off the phone not too long ago. Everybody don’t know, but you know, everybody thought I was stupid. But, you know, I’m one of the smartest 27-year-olds out here.

“Now they’re talking right. OK? That’s why I left them [last year]. They weren’t talking right. You see what I’m saying? So they had to come back and stumble on their words. So like I told them, as long as the numbers are right, we’re gonna have a hell of a fight.”

While Broner seemingly needs Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) to maximize his earning potential, Broner would provide Pacquiao with a polarizing opponent who’d help generate significant interest in a pay-per-view fight.

The 38-year-old Pacquiao is expected to defend his WBO welterweight title against unknown Australian Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) in his next fight. Pacquiao-Horn is tentatively scheduled for April 22 either in the United Arab Emirates or Australia.

Wherever it is held, it’ll be the third straight Pacquiao pay-per-view event since his lucrative, long-awaited showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May 2015 that hasn’t captivated consumers. The Filipino superstar’s first two fights after Mayweather – an unnecessary rubber match with Timothy Bradley and a WBO welterweight title fight against Jessie Vargas – each produced disappointing pay-per-view numbers

Broner Delivers Highest Rated SHO Boxing Event Since 2015

Apparently, A.B. stands for Audience Buying.

It has almost always turned out to be the case whenever Adrien Broner tops a televised boxing event. His latest adventure may have been a struggle in the ring, but his hard-fought point win over Adrian Granados was certainly a hit with viewers. The February 18 welterweight pulled in a two-year high for American cable outlet Showtime, drawing 779,000 viewers over the course of their 10-round bout live from the Cintas Center on Xavier University campus in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The telecast peaked at 859,000 viewers, with both tallies coming courtesy of Nielsen Media Research. Both numbers are network highs for Showtime Championship Boxing since Jan. '15, when Deontay Wilder's title winning effort over Bermane Stiverne produced the last million-plus viewership pull for the pay-cable channel.

Broner's ratings pull is impressive on a number of levels. Aside from it serving as the most-watched cable boxing match of 2017 to date, the viewership total doesn't even account for the number of nonsubscribers who tuned in as part of Showtime' free-preview weekend, or those who watched the Twitter live stream, the first time ever that a boxing event was simulcast live on the popular social media outlet.

Additionally, Broner still managed to draw a crowd despite a large portion of the Showtime-televised tripleheader going head-to-head with the NBA All-Star weekend festivities on TNT, with its rating north of 5.6 million going well above the network average for the time slot.

well that is one positive from that card..broner is a draw...the problem is he looked terrible against that non descript opponent while all those ppl watched

Nobody looks good against Granados....however, "terrible" is a STRONG word.

Outlanded Granados in total punches 166-146, outlanded Granados in power punches 143-123, outlanded Granados in total punches in 7 out of 10 rounds and in power punches in 6 of 10 rounds while tying 1 round.

Landed 46% of his power punches compared to 23% for Granados.

Landed 41% of his total punches compared to 21% for Granados.

Now, if you were un-impressed...so be it. I know yall have HOF Legendary expectations for AB:smugbiden:, but terrible? Nah, it wasn't a terrible performance at all.

Maybe AB should beat up on Felix Diaz next then and wait on Pacquiao:obama:
