he didn't want no smoke at 154...of course
andrade already said he's moving up to 160 soon, so who cares?....you really thought canelo would stay at 154 for a guy nobody knows?:dahell:.....turn down mega millions and a once in a lifetime fight for demetrius andrade brehs:CaneLMAO:......andrade wants to fight canelo to fatten his pockets. which is exactly why canelo chose chavez jr. if canelo beats andrade right now he gains nothing. everybody will say andrade was unproven and overrated. when he actually beats a legit top guy, then we can talk.

lets also not forget, andrade himself said chavez-canelo is a good fight and great for the sport. only people saying this is a bad fight are little g dikk riders and canelo haters. this fight will draw much needed attention to the sport and it's guaranteed to deliver great action. canelo is 26 and just entering his prime. all those guys at 154 will get their chance. canelo doesn't have to chase anybody.

I got few questions, what y'all think about these:

Does boxing have a momentum right now compared to the last 5 years or no? It seems like the first half of this year is/will be especially good and good matchups being made more often than in the past years.

What do you think is the worthiest title of all if there's any? I think if there's any it's either the IBF because of its consistency or the WBC because of their historical place ad because they started to pull major moves like the VADA agreement and the rumors about they unify their title with the WBA.

What do you think is the best division now? 130, 147, 154 and 175 imo as far as the number of talent goes, I don't know the order between them. 126 ain't that far behind either. But I don't really follow under 122 so... as far as how much the elite fights each other cruiser is one of the bests too.

@cmvegeta @Newzz @patscorpio @mr. smoke weed @Big Boss @krackdagawd @#SOG_soldier @hyperman25 @malbaker86 @HeruDat @LeVraiPapi @LauderdaleBoss @Cocaine Biceps @((ReFleX)) @ChocolateGiddyUp @HARLEM AL @Black_Jesus @GREENandYELLOW @Amare's Right Hook @King P @JDee323

and all of the posters who I forgot now but are active in here
I'ma be honest. I barely even know who the title holders are in every division. even my favorite divisions. I don't give a shyt about belts, and I won't give a shyt until they only have one title for every division. I know who the best are and that's all I care about when it comes to matchmaking.

as far as momentum, boxing is worse off than it was 5 years ago but it's still in a good state. because 5 years ago boxing was just floyd and pacquiao. and yea they were selling like crazy but boxing was always doomed for an ice age once they finally fought. the hype surrounding floyd-pacquiao pretty much took away all the attention from the young good fighters in the sport. now that floyd and pac are almost finished, the attention is going back to the young guys where it belongs. none of them may never sell as great as floyd, but I think it's better to have a large group of guys who can do good ratings then 1-2 guys who do monster ratings. I feel like boxing is on the cusp of another golden era. great matchups will draw in the casuals. between garcia-thurman, little g-jacobs, canelo-chavez, and brook-spence, i'm fukkin set for the first half. no other fight could be made and i'd be happy with those fights. as long as we keep getting matchups like this, the momentum will keep building.

here's the thing though flex..i dont care for canelo and his struggle cardio/workrate or jr and his overall bum behavior..this fight does nothing for me except provide the possibility of fukkery as im not high on either...its a money grab based off names instead of ability...when you open up as a 12 to 1 favorite in this scenario, you're looking at a bullshyt fight...canelo for sure should be fighting someone better..someone like andrade who would prolly beat him.and jr should just be off my TV period

"I'll give you an advantage on this bet because I'm making four times as much as you anyway"

canelo went straight for the jugular:dead:

Went straight for the jugular then bytched out... Seems to be a recurring thing with the Mexican who doesn't "fukk around":hhh:

He accepted, I accepted and in front of the cameras and I think we shook hands like gentlemen in front of the cameras. I think that in the United States, when something is promised verbally then it is official, so the bet is already on," Canelo told ESPN Deportes. "[We bet] his purse, or he goes home with double or goes home with nothing."

Which is it...You giving odds N Advantages since you make so much Canelo or is it double or nothing on Chavez Jr purse?? :aicmon:

Once a lil nikka always a lil nikka :Jccjrstache:

every fighter is always allowed a tuneup when moving up a division. nobody ever fights the best right out the gate. and for canelo's first fight above at 160+, this is a great fight. chavez is huge, a big puncher and can hurt canelo with a good shot. meanwhile, canelo gets to adjust to the weight and see how he feels. on top of that, it's gonna bring in a shyt load of casuals. if canelo takes a weak opponent after this, then i'll say he deserves the criticism. but 90% likely we all know it's gonna be little g next.

I knew this all along...the mandatory is too strong for that belt:manny:

@HeruDat

#ATeam

Don't know whatsup I didn't get this mention.

After listening to DA on DBN he sounds content on making the Lara fight next.

I don't think even a belt would elevate him into getting a shot at Canelo he'll just drop the belt. Check that interview out, said Canelo don't want it with certain (type) black fighters too.

Charlo and Canelo moving to 160 at the same time too. Two belts up for grabs at 154.

:ahh:

chavez is not a big puncher above 160..he hasnt stopped anyone much less drop anyone since 2012..he couldn't drop or stop the likes of bryan vera with a weight advantage...the only ex factor is if canelo's cherry picking goes wrong when that motherfukker rehydrate to 190-200 lbs (he mostly likely will since hes dropping to 164.5 catchweight) and he struggles not to empty his tank trying to keep away from him or off him if he cant hurt him...neither one of them have footwork to speak of really..they both got cement feet..the winner is not going to be seen as a contender at super middleweight which is what 164.5 is...chavez is the weak opponent and canelo is playing weight games

This is one of the main reasons nikka hate #AboutBillions

Dude constantly pulls in good numbers against tough no name nikkas while other boxers gotta fight p4p level cats just so nikkas can give a damn, only for their fights to do average to below average numbers.

Then he turns around and promotes cats that can do the same thing he does.

Its like inception fukkery within fukkery

#AboutBillions (They stay mad, we just stay winning)

I don't like Broner cause I don't like his style both inside and outside the ring I don't really give a fukk about his ratings aside of I'm even happy for it cause bigger exposure is good for the sport so I'm happy for all high viewerships refardless which fighter did it. It's not like I would root to anyone just because he is a draw tho... I'm not a sales executive just a fan.
