Mfing Khan and his delusional fans tho...

They keep pushing this dude into big money fights, now he will allegedly fight Pac. shyt is legit starting to make me mad, we all know how it will end up. Basically Khan vs any legit top 5-6 ww with good power is a confirmed Khan KO loss.
Pac will get his first KO win since idek when afterall...

Frank Warren: I Strongly Fancy Walsh To Beat Gervonta Davis - Boxing News

Why this guy writes columns for boxingscene again...?

for once: He is a promoter who they let write articles on their site, what else a promoter gonna say other than "My fighter will win"?

for twice: It's not even him who moves units in the UK now but Hearn.

for thrice: No he won't beat Gervonta Davis but he is a worthy challenger I guess

smh @ these petty mfers...

Crawford is one of the few bigger names (relatively, in boxing...) who is still with them, and they can't even pay half a million to a worthy challenger
I hope they stop fukking around and pay that man so we can watch that fight

not like Diaz would beat Crawford or make it particularly close or anything but he's still a worthy opponent and the best who is available right now.
If HBO stays petty then I'm okay with Crawford vs Granados though... that's like the second best option. Or Lipinets maybe but I guess he will rather wait for his mandatory shot against the Burns vs Indongo winner

bruh now you know if theres one person in here who's never had any high expectations of broner, its me :russ:

I'm kind of the same way. I basically thought he'd be a good fighter and decent/solid titleholder, not a real elite fighter or future great. I think the same of Canelo.

Often times I feel the expectations of fighters get too high when they have speed, as was the case of fighters like Broner, Khan, and Judah. Broner has fast hands, but his feet, defensive reflexes, and movement fall very short of that speed. He also has limitations due to his height and stocky frame, which also hurt guys like Andre Berto and Meldrick Taylor (even without the Chavez fight, I think he would have had a short prime, although he was certainly better than the other guys being discussed). Berto also had fast hands and a wicked uppercut, but was a wide target who squared up a lot, and his defense was lacking.

Khan has fast hands and feet but is just so sloppy in addition to being chinny, and it didn't take much to get him off his game plan. I thought his technical skills were pretty bad for a world champion, the guy could rarely throw a right hand without coming forward and practically falling onto his opponent afterwards. He lacked fluidity and often looked like a spazzed out retard in the ring.

Judah though, I thought much higher of and did think was going to be an elite p4p fighter. He had speed, power, that sneaky left uppercut, a nice little variety of punches, and was far more fluid in his movement.

I think Canelo is a real elite fighter today as opposed to Broner but otherwise I agree on most things

I actually picked Maidana to beat Broner before their fight cause I didn't think Broner is the guy he was being marketed at that time, I saw his limitations. Not to brag though... everybody has these moments when they predict something the majority didn't see, for me one of these were the Broner vs Maidana fight.
