Even his father is insecure in his chances, he prolly beat his son's ass right after that TV show for making that bet :mjlol: and now he's gotta make excuses on why they backing out and tries to talk their way out with them only caring about prestige and shyt like the existence of the bet would make that any different. :heh:
not surprising at all. dude was talking all that tough shyt, but when that money got put up he like :whoa:.......Sr knows his son getting fukked up and he's not about to lose out on the last big payday he'll ever see. he prolly still controls all of Jr's funds and gives him a monthly allowance:mjlol:....prolly fukks his bytches too on some kenny porter shyt:ChavezCry:

I think Canelo gonna target practice on Chavez... :manny: I don't think it will be that close. Maybe Chavez will win some rounds cause Canelo sometimes tends to take off rounds but overall I think it will be either a wider Canelo UD or a late, possibly RTD or standing TKO stoppage
I wouldn't be surprised to see canelo get knocked down. just cause he's prideful. he's gonna stand toe to toe with julio a lot in this fight, which is gonna leave him open. but I also expect canelo to be stronger than ever. he's gonna be sitting down on his punches like never before and have Jr. lumped up early. this shyt gonna be bloody and beautiful :CaneloRejoice:

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze” Bomber” Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs) will be getting a purse of $900,000 for his title defense tonight against Gerald Washington (18-0-1, 12 KOs) at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Washington will be getting a little less than Wilder with his purse being $250,000. That’s not bad money for a challenger with no big fight experience.

Former heavyweight title challenger Dominic Breazeale (17-1, 15 KOs) is getting a purse of $175,000 for his fight against Izuagbe Ugonoh (17-0, 14 KOs). The 30-year-old Ugonoh’s purse for the fight is just $75,000.

Canelo: Chavez Jr. Did Not Take Advantage of Being Chavez's Son

According to Canelo, Chavez Jr. had the entire world at his feet - as the namesake of the man who most regard as the greatest Mexican fighter of all-time, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. He feels Chavez Jr. allowed everything to collapse and dropped the ball in a big way.

"I think [Chavez Jr.] had a good start to his career, when his father was retiring, because he had the support of the television networks since he started fighting. I don't know what happened to him behind the scenes, his personal life fell apart, his career stagnated and now he started to dedicate himself as of late,"

Canelo told ESPN Deportes. "I think he should have taken advantage of all that [hype as Chavez's son], because if you can imagine .. being Julio Cesar Chavez's son is incredible [as a fighter]. I personally watch videos of his dad, how he threw combinations, how he fought. I really like it." "I try to follow Julio César, his movements and combinations... obviously in my style because everyone has his style, but his movements and combinations. What I think is that [Chavez Jr.] should have taken advantage of all that, although one can never know what happened [behind the scenes]."

I personally think it's gonna be a war. JR can take a serious beating, and although he's obviously no where near Canelo's level skillwise he's big and strong as fukk. It's gonna be great.
