probably what I said before. Canelo got too prideful and started standing toe to toe for too long. or standing against the ropes and letting Jr tee off. my biggest fear as a canelo stan is that he let's his emotions get the best of him and gets into a brawl from round 1. especially cause of how much this fight means to Mexico and the bad blood between them. I don't think there's any way Chavez wins by decision. only way is by KO. he's gonna have to catch canelo with something good in one of the exchanges during the fight. and there's gonna be plenty.

Lmao if Hurd keeps fighting like he did last night I can't see him beating any mildly credible belt holder. He's shifty and awkward in the wrong ways and his footwork plus D is terrible. Harrison really needed to tee off on that right hand from round 1.

I think Harrison was a bad style matchup for him though
Hurd strikes me as a counterpuncher, Harrison fought from the outside which is something counter punchers don't like that much. I think Hurd will look more impressive against come forward pressure fighters and brawlers who are willing to get mid-close range to exchange. Other question is that none of the current top sww fighters are like that...
Andrade, Jermell, Lara... none of them is that type
Trout, Lubin, Williams (despite that he just got countered badly on his last fight) neither
and none of them seems to have the same type of shytty stamina as Harrison.

He jabbed with a jabbing nikka...buzzed him more then once in them early rds he was losing...stayed calm...didn't get sloppy

Wore out the nikka broke him down N slumped him

Thats literally EXACTLY what you want to see from your young fighter
