First of all, Pac was already p4p #2 when he lost to Floyd who was p4p#1 and I know yall love to exaggerate that win like it was non competitive :mjlol:. But thats not enough to take Pac off the p4p list or top 5 in my opinion

Who the fukk has Kovalev been dominant against thats better competition recently??

Same with Rigo (If Rigo cant find fights he should've moved up like everyone else).

Same with Mikey Garcia, his best win is against 11 losses Salido.. Lomachenko loss to Salido

You can think they can beat Pac at the same weight if you want to.. thats your opinion which I disagree with, and :hubie:you're entitled to your top 5, but my response was specifically directed at "Pac aint beat nobody recently" which is lie and none of them nikkas you named outside Ward beat anybody ranked higher than Bradley

We exaggerate it was non-competitive...but the judges scored it 118-110, 116-112, and 116-112:jbhmm::hubie:

Secondly, I dont care where Bradley was ranked.:manny:

At no point in time was he the 3rd best Boxer on the planet...unless you wanna say there was a point in time that Broner was the 6th best Boxer in the world:mjpls:

Of course you exagerrate the win like it was non competitive. Plenty of rounds were close that Floyd won that could've gone either way.. Besides it aint like any of those you named wouldn't lose to Floyd if they were the same weight.. Loma lost to Orlando Salido regardless.. Orlando Salido aint Floyd. Not even ranked p4p top 30 which is why I find it hilarious when you say none of them took an L like Pacquiao vs Floyd like Floyd isn't Floyd Mayweather..

Doesn't matter where you rank Bradley, the ooint remains Kovalev, Garcia, Rigondeaux, Lomachenko hasn't beaten anybody ranked higher than Bradley ever or recently

Again :hubie:you're entitled to your top 5, but none of them outside of Ward has a better win on their resume than Tim Bradley

Pac is p4p #1 based off of merit.

"The boxing establishment" isn't going to allow him being annoited as the #1 fighter in the sport (which he is until proven otherwise) for a variety of reasons.

Chief reason being...he's outlived his usefullness.

A large part of his appeal with the media & casual fans was being a boogeyman to Mayweather...that's over now.

There's just no interest in him as a fighter or his fights by the media & casuals anymore...red headed stepchild status.

Dan Rafael, The Boxing Guy (12:35 PM)I believe GGG will fight Saunders in June. He is not going to be dictated to by Canelo and give up his dream for the 4th belt. He can go have homecoming fight for many millions (I've heard around $10 million) for a fight he will win win handily vs. Saunders. It's a no-brainer. If Oscar and Canelo don't like that that's on them and they will suffer the wrath of the fans and press if they blow the fight.

Manny Pacquiao by all means is respected..... But he's been boxing professionally for 22 years and is now 38 years old. Best believe they're going to match him carefully so he can extend his career to the point where hopefully he can retire with little money worries.

Does that mean he couldn't beat these young lions like Thurman or Crawford? Of course not, Manny's career exemplifies physical defiance along with a vast edge in experience. But there comes a time, when father time, proves to you why he's still undefeated... Jessie Vargas and Jeff Horn don't really trigger that threat against a Manny Pacquiao IMO... But other fighters out here do.

For ranking purposes I can't say I'd have him anywhere near the P4P anymore, as I wouldn't advise him facing certain fighters due to the heightened risk of loss, via decision or KO. For the 1st time in forever, there's match-ups I would actually view Manny as the underdog in. In fact, if it wasn't for the money issues, I'd do all I could to convince him to retire and just take care of his family.

We've seen careful match making extend careers, and unresponsible ones end them. Whether due to physical or mental reasons, every athlete has an expiration date It's up to a good team around you to see what you don't see in training camps and the bouts themselves to guide you away from challenges they would've allowed you to take in a past time.
