Can someone explain to me why Danny Garcia and Andre Ward are allowed to unify the WBC belt. I thought the WBC didnt allow that :dwillhuh:

Just when I think I got the whole belt business figures out, it gets even more confusing :ohhh:

That Broner super stan got some splaining to do:leon:

You rang breh?

Now, :whoa: , I know the pictures seem a little suspect....but you gotta understand.

In the first picture, when he's outside on the porch, it was probably hot outside. Broner just needed some air or a breeze....it gets hot in Cincinnati in the summer time.

In the 2nd picture...in the club, it's obvious that it must've been packed bc of the sweat on his face and they were just trying to air out. Yall know how the clubs can get a little hot with all the dancing and people inside....plus with alcohol in your system.

In the 3rd picture, with no shirt, he was hot in his room. He was trying to air out because of the hot summer day he experienced in Cincinnati. Because it was cooling down that evening and he was in the house with AC on, he was throwing up the peace sign to the person who let him in as a form of "thanks"

I dont know how I did, but I'm glad I got out of that one:whew:

Now imagine if that was the GOAT defensive and offensive fighters by numbers, you keep him in the middle of the ring you beat him easily

But I got to hear this but but but Canelo shyt:shaq2:

i know im late to this post but i been telling muthafukkas that Canelo can not beat mayweather, even though he has a punchers chance but floyd too fast too slick and his defense is too ill, the fight wont go pass the 9-10 round. canelo's style is made for FMJ to pick him apart. pot shots check hooks canelo will run out of gas early and his face will look like his hair at the end of the fight.

Nah he's Puerto Rican.

I really don't understand it.

The WBC already told Canelo he can't unify is title and
he's Mexico's Whte Baby Jesus.

Nah. Canelo is white on Sulaiman's books. Look how he handed the belt to Chavez Jr :heh:

MAYWEATHER ON CANELO: "TELL HIM TO DO HIS OWN PAY-PER-VIEW SHOW" || FIGHTHYPE

"I'm under contract with Showtime and CBS, so a fighter that I made famous, Canelo, how can he give me an ultimatum? When I was his age, I was champion too. Where he's at compared to where I was at, if you pull up the record, I don't remember everyone I fought by that time, but I fought Genaro Hernandez and Angel Manfredy when Angel Manfredy just gout finished beating Arturo Gatti. I fought solid, top competition. I'm not going to say that he can't fight or he's not a good fighter, but how can I let a 22-year-old kid, who just got into the sport of boxing, give me an ultimatum..No fighter is going to give me an ultimatum. How can a fighter that ain't never been on pay-per-view without me give an ultimatum," Mayweather explained. "You know, tell him [Canelo] to do his own pay-per-view show if he's such a big name. Let's see if he's going to do his own pay-per-view show. I bet he don't. Man, his red-head, freckle-faced ass better just sit back and wait in line. If I feel like choosing him, I'll choose him. If you get a lottery ticket, then you step up to the plate and you get your payday. Right now, Guerrero has his lottery ticket."

Broner is taking a lot of flak for moving past the light welterweight division, which is loaded with dangerous fighters in order to take on what many boxing fans feel is the weakest of the 147 lb. champions in Malignaggi.

You can’t blame the critics for dumping all over Broner because it does seem like a weak move by him to bypass the best fighters at 140 like Danny Garcia, Amir Khan, Zab Judah, Lamont Peterson and Lucas Matthysse in order to fight Malignaggi.

You can make a pretty good argument that all of those light welterweights would beat Malignaggi at this point, and maybe with ease. We already saw Khan easily beat Malignaggi by an 11th round TKO three years ago.

That fight was incredibly easy for Khan, and Malignaggi is still basically the same fighter now as he was then. The only difference is he’s fighting at 147 and holds the title after beating Vyacheslav Senchenko to pick up the strap last year.

There’s no question that Broner will beat Malignaggi. He’s got the better power, better speed, better defensive skills and the better inside game. A victory for Broner in this fight is pretty much academic.

What’s not known is whether Broner will choose to defend the title or dump it and slink back down to the 135 pound division to continue to defend his WBC lightweight strap against the mostly weak opposition down there. If that’s what Broner decides to do, and some fans think that’s what his plan is, then it’s a joke for him to be fighting Malignaggi for a title.

That’s a weak move because Broner is facing the perceived weakest champion instead of the best or even the second best. It’ll look much worse for Broner if he captures the title, and the instead of defending the title against the likes of Marcos Maidana and Diego Chaves, he dumps it to move back down to 135 to defend his WBC strap against poor opponents.

Broner vs. Malignaggi almost done, says Schaefer

What do you guys think?

What do you guys think?

Garcia, Matthysee, Peterson, Judah all got fights already scheduled and apparently Schaefer wants to match the winner of those fights with Khan.

What is Broner supposed to do? I dont see how he's ducking anybody when everybody has fights on the schedule. He can easily go up and fight Paulie and stay at 147 when Lucas, Danny and Lamont move up or go to 140 and fight those guys?

And it's not like there's anybody at 135 who would be a better matchup than Paulie anyway
