Charlo is a douche though... period. :yeshrug:
What's the point in barking months after you won? He really proceeds it that hard that there are people who didn't think he will win? I have bad news for him... it's gonna happen again sometimes. Even more bad news...

Dude is a good boxer but acts like a pompous bytch every time I see him saying something. Hope he will lose soon. :ld:

:salute:

I understand not liking GGG's team and HBO's promotion of him, but dude has a great personality and is funny.

Quick recap of the interview:
- Respects Danny Jacobs and thinks it is his current best opponent.
- Believes this fight decides who is the best current MW.
- Likes fighting in NY because it is a boxing mecca.
- Got into boxing on the suggestion of his brothers.
- Used to get into street fights because his brothers would push him to do it.
- Never lost a street fight.
- Negotiations with Andre Ward were never serious and they could still fight one day.
- Rousey is not ready for the biggest fights and is not a good boxer.
- Thinks that it is Canelo's team, not Canelo that is holding the fight back. But would like Canelo to stop calling him out if he won't sign the fight right away.
- Would fight Floyd and at 154, only because of the money and person involved. Would not move down for anyone else.
- Did not take it easy on Kell Brook. Brook is a good fighter, but did not hit like a true MW.
- Will fight anyone, but he can't control that no one will sign contracts or offer him contracts.
- Admits that in the past he hasn't been excited for fights due to the fact he didn't respect his opponents skills. The fights last year he felt bored.
- Does not get scared in the ring. Does not worry about hurting opponents because that is the sport.
- Making weight is not hard and he doesn't have to do anything crazy to make weight. Considers himself a small MW.
- Believes the Jacobs fight will get a 24/7 episode(s).
- Only time he didn't want to talk was in regards to his personal life.
- Last street fight he got into was 2 years ago. Had to straighten out a drunk driver in Russia.
- The Canelo sparring was just that, sparring. It was not a real fight and neither guy was fighting like a real fight.
- Likes the UFC and thinks it is more dramatic than boxing, but boxing is classier.
- Straight faced when shown a picture of ODH in lingerie, said that his his problem, not his.
I keep saying it. He even dismisses the sparring stories. Once you get rid of all the promotional BS, his rabid fans, Doug Fisher jocking him etc, its hard not to root for him. I lol'ed at that Oscar part. Guy is professional and just wants the fight. That guy who got into the street fight with him tho :damn:

Rep breh. That is what I keep trying to tell folks. Abel, HBO, and writers being over the top turns people off from really looking at GGG on his own. Gotta separate the two things. GGG on his own seems like a classy fighter (never said a bad word about an opponent - other than misspoken english) and has a great personlity.

Shouldnt ever happen because PBC's stable at WW, JMW is far better...but if they can't keep him more active I wouldn't blame him. With Pacquiao on the way out Spence would become one of Arum's top guys, could do well for himself.

Also, maybe this could have to do with Arum and Haymon working together "in theory". Arum could probably get him more work right away and he could cross over and fight PBC guys.

Will be interesting to follow what happens.
