@mr. smoke weed may be right. That Breakfast Club GGG interview made it seem like it definitely is possible that GGG and Canelo are trolling us all and they know the fight is going down in Sept.
Wouldnt surprise me at all, seems to be a typical GB promotion tactic, act like the fight isn't getting made, get the fans outraged a bit, and then the fight is announced when negotiations were apparently going tough. That is how this whole JCC negotiation seemed to go.

There's no doubt in my mind Jccjr can win this fight as long as he can make the weight without being a zombie

Weighing in at 167 fighting this past Dec, having memo N plenty of time to make the weight N not blowing up in between... He shouldn't be a zombie

Canelo has a low work rate...DOES not move around like Sergio at all...Gasses all the time N takes off 2/3rds of entire RDS at a time

You make a good point. He was taking Rubio's shots too and that mofo can crack. He took Martinez and Andy Lee shots hell he dropped both later on. The only time he was dropped was against fonfara at light heavyweight who also dropped stevenson tbf and had like an output of over 800 punches. That said however Chavez himself doesn't have a great output. He had 178/320 vs sergio martinez 322/908. Threw 320 punches, while Vera threw 730. He did land 291 against zbik since that fight was mostly in the pocket but the german actually outlanded him with 391. . With him being drained I wonder what kind of pace he can keep up honestly. Although in some of those matches like the Marco Reyes match his accuracy comes through. I think he could use his size against canelo to wear him down though. Wanna see how Canelo fights off the ropes with the bigger man

Good way to look at it, but JCC's power hasn't been anything special at 160 or above. I think his chin will hold up fine and it won't break down until later in the fight if Canelo gets to it by accumulation.
I think the difference will be skill and speed and JCC is lacking in both those departments. Give me Canelo by decision or late TKO.
