So basically, pot calling Kettle black?

Peterson = Haymon = Plug to the WBA Champion who's also managed by Haymon.
It's sanctioning bodies....they're all ridiculous....I don't think PEDerson is worthy of a title shot in the WW division rn, but that's just me

Because Skinny Fat has never went 12 with an opponent before:russell:

Stop it. Easter is a bigger draw and is looking to fight other 135 fighters while Skinny Fat is all over the place....calling out Thurman 1 day, and then Lomachenko the next:snoop:

Yet, he wont give a definite call out of Robert Easter.............but Easter is the easy fight. Right?:mjlol:

Again, breh, I said Easter is an easy fight for Mikey, does that make him the easiest at 135? Nah he's prolly the toughest for Mikey right now, and? Nobody cares if Easter is a bigger draw RN except for you and AB, Mikey has Schaef dog its not like he's missing any money lol.

So ifs he's said he'd fight; Loma, Thurman, Linares, Flanagan etc AND Easter.....what would make u think he's avoiding Easter?

:mjlol: cmon breh

No I don't have any receipts.....you're heavily implying that Mikey doesn't want to fight Easter, because he's scared of losing, right?

No, Im saying if Easter was as easy to beat as you had stated over and over again, if his height/reach/power/speed/chin didn't matter, if his resume proves he hasnt beat anyone, then Im sure Mikey Garcia would be in a RUSH to run that unification........specially since Easter represents a big payday, a big draw, and they have the same exact manager:sas1:

The fact that Garcia isn't as ready to face Easter as he is to face 2 of the other 3 Champions, who represent less money, less views, and a "tougher task" according to your dismissals of Easter........that tells me that Team Garcia knows that it isn't an easy fight:sas2:

"If Easter wants it":dead:

He didn't ask if Linares or Flanagan wants it....he said he wants them in 2017:mjpls:

Why cant he say he wants Easter, since Easter is easy work for the great Mikey Garcia?:mjpls:
Why when it comes to Easter, Mikey is saying the fight is up to Easter, but turn around and Mikey can flat out call out the other 135 Champions with no problem? :mjpls:

But when I said he was the toughest fight for Mikey Garcia at 135......you dismissed it. :yeshrug:

When I gave you the reasons why he was............................................you dismissed them. :yeshrug:

If you would've initially agreed, we wouldn't be having this convo breh:heh:

*edit*

I actually probably said he beats Garcia at 135:whoa:

I didn't go back to check or not, but either way, if you think Garcia beats him, cool. I think vice versa, but either way, they would both be their toughest opponents bc of what they bring to the table imo.:ehh:

Eleider Alvarez Steps Aside to Allow Stevenson-Monaghan 4/29

By Keith Idec

Promoter Yvon Michel confirmed to BoxingScene.com on Wednesday that light heavyweight contender Eleider Alvarez has entered a step-aside agreement with Adonis Stevenson.

By accepting an undisclosed sum of money from Michel, whose company promotes Alvarez and Stevenson, Alvarez allowed Michel to negotiate with promoter Lou DiBella for Stevenson’s optional defense of the WBC 175-pound championship against Sean Monaghan. Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs), who would be an overwhelming favorite against Monaghan, is expected to defend his title against Monaghan on April 29 at the newly renovated Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

The 35-year-old Monaghan (28-0, 17 KOs), ranked No. 10 by the WBC among its contenders at 175 pounds, is from nearby Long Beach, New York, and is a proven ticket-seller. The same group that operates the Barclays Center runs Nassau Coliseum and its executives have hoped all along to put a popular New York fighter in the main event of the first boxing card at the refurbished building.

The Colombian-born Alvarez (22-0, 11 KOs) has been the mandatory challenger for Stevenson’s title since November 2015.

Alvarez, 32, most recently defeated former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (32-4-1, 25 KOs) by fifth-round knockout February 24 in Quebec City, Canada. He is expected to fight the winner of Stevenson-Monaghan next.

Michel had hoped to match Stevenson against another fighter from Long Island, Joe Smith Jr., on April 29 at Nassau Coliseum. The 27-year-old Smith (23-1, 19 KOs), ranked No. 3 by the WBC, is viewed as more of a threat to the 39-year-old Stevenson than Monaghan because Smith has knocked out Andrzej Fonfara (29-4, 17 KOs) and Bernard Hopkins (55-8-2, 32 KOs, 2 NC) in back-to-back bouts.

Negotiations between Michel and Joe DeGuardia, Smith’s promoter, broke down last month, though. Michel has since turned his attention to other options for Stevenson.

Monaghan parted ways earlier this year with promoter Top Rank Inc. He signed recently with DiBella, who showcased Monaghan on his cards earlier in Monaghan’s career.

Smith beat Monaghan by decision in the 178-pound, novice-division final at the 2008 New York Golden Gloves tournament. There has been talk that they eventually could fight each other at Nassau Coliseum.
