I know you hate GGG with a passion so all this shyt is killing you inside. :umad:

Give it another week, the Ether should stop burning your soul by then. :obama::salute:

I want to see him soar as high as he can so it's bigger when Canelo topples him. Too bad Danny Jacobs almost fukked that up for ya. :russ:

Yup too bad Lil Danny lacked the fundamentals such as putting your weight behind your power shots instead of running like Lara and flailing like Bradley hoping to finesse a decision.

As for Canelo, he got his own cruiserweight to worry about now. :francis:

I think Jacobs can take a rematch with GGG alot cleaner if he fights Southpaw from the jump...particularly, when in the middle of the ring. If yall noticed...Jacobs lowered GGG's Jab accuracy & output everytime he switched Southpaw...Jacobs using his lead hand from the Southpaw stance to parry the jab (and occassionally countering G's jab with the overhand left) was gving GGG all sorts of issues in establishing his jab...

good eyes. the southpaw jab and the orthodox jab come down the same path. so you cant counter a southpaw jab the same way you can counter an orthodox jab.

a southpaw jab gets in the way. jacobs went southpaw and his jab got in the way. golovkin had no room to extend a jab or he got his jab shoved away.

but there are a lot of things you can do to a jab. there are so many different ways to counter a jab. and when you are a big man you can punch down. jacobs being a big man can just drop right hands over the top of golovkins jab.

do you remember when vince phillips knocked out kostya tszyu? he was a big man and he was just coming down over the top of tszyus jab with a right hand over and over.

Take away G's jab...and you take away his ability to set up any sort of meaningful offensive attack.

yes.

damn yuzo u been gone for a while. have u scored Jacobs/ggg fight yet?

had jacobs by a few rounds.

I was thinking about what @ChocolateGiddyUp said about wins only appreciating with time and I started thinking...

Can loses only depreciate in time? For example, you lose to an up and coming fighter with a shyt resume and you're a future hall of famer. However, little did the world realize that fighter would move on to be greater than imagined so the loss no longer looks as bad.

Would you guys agree or disagree with this line of thinking?

I agree.

Can we blame Ricky Burns for losing to Terence Crawford?:manny:

Can we blame Marco Antonio Barrera for losing to Manny Pacquiao?:manny:

James Toney when he KOd Michael Nunn? Should we hold that against Nunn? :manny:

Ghost was hit so hard he was drooling on Himself

paulie was knocked down in his last 3 fights before swift...one of those fights ko'ed brutally...swift comes in there throwing heavy bag combinations until the ref got :beli: at swift's struggle and mercy stopped

ghost was brutalized in his last 3 fights, dropped inh is last 2 but swift couldn't take him off his feet..peralta the ghostbuster however was able to do that after even though the incompetent ref didnt call it

:laff: it brought back a random memory of you defending aron martinez talmbout he wasn't a jobber anymore because he beat a painkiller ridden version of devon alexander...then he gets slaughtered by sammy vasquez and hasnt been heard of since lol

but yeah no evidence of that vaunted power since that move breh
