canelo went out of his way to demand lara and trout. even shaefer said he didn't really want to make those fights at the time but canelo forced them. that's why I'll always love caneloBlame ODLH for Canelo for signing his name down to face certain opponents?
Nah....Canelo has enough pull to face WHOEVER he wants. If he agrees to face Lemieux, im not blaming DLH...that's Canelo's call
Also, under ODLH with no Schaefer, Canelo has been making big $$$ for less threatening opponents, which would be many fighter's dream
Canelo's last 4 opps under Schaefer: Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Alfredo Angulo, and Erislandy Lara
Canelo's last 4 opps under De La Hoya: James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, and Liam Smith
I cant blame Canelo for sticking it out with GBP, because they are moving him the best way in regards to his preserving his health and increasing his bank account![]()

I swear if they really tryna force Lemieux vs Canelo...other than lucas making his return..hopefully on the road to glory..this card isnt anything really

I swear if they really tryna force Lemieux vs Canelo...
At this point it's frustrating as fukk cause I'm confident in Canelo beating GGG but seems like his fukking promoter still scared...
That's your opinion man, but I doubt it, I gave respect Canelo or achieving to have the fight with Trout and Lara, two fights what p*ssy ass Oscar (as a promoter of course not as a fighter) and his team also didn't want so how I gonna act then if it would be his fault that he can't get the Golovkin fight...? He has to fight constantly with his team and if he finally can't that's his fault?Blame ODLH for Canelo for signing his name down to face certain opponents?

and I either wanna see triple L or danny Jacobs after Chavez. lemieux isn't in canelo's league. the only positive is that he's little g's best win and if canelo fought him they would finally share a mutual opponent with one another. it would be an exciting fight that I wouldn't mind to see. only after 97g or danny jacobs.

'd Lara's name in the garbage can like:

Oscar is a clown but he still offered triple L 15 mil and ppv upside and he refused to sign it. I think most people here believe giving giving 97g 15 mil is ridiculous. he's done nothing to prove he's worth the money Oscar offered him. that's 5 times more money than he made to fight Jacobs GUARANTEED. at what point do we start placing blame on little g?.....the guy said he does this for the love, not the business. then he gets offered a career high guarantee by far and he refuses to accept it. the fact is little g and his team LOVE this press they're getting right now. they have the media eating out of their hands. running with the angle that canelo is still shook and ignoring the fact that triple L was already offered 15 mil and declined. little g and his team know their time is almost up and are trying to milk this shyt for as long as possible. once canelo beats him, his whole shtick is over. the "boogeyman" shyt is the only thing he has going for him. once he gets beat, his marketability is OVER. we have to wait for the negotiations again. if little g keeps refusing outlandish paydays, the blame can't be placed on Oscar anymore. In cases like this I rather blame the promoter than the fighter and most of the cases that's right.
If I blame Canelo for anything it's that he didn't kick out his team and promoter a long time ago. How you gonna keep people around you who don't even trust in your abilities and are scared to death that if you lose they will become irrelevant...? That's fukked up.
Oscar is a bad promoter and he still didn't get his shyt together he doesn't act like a mature businessman, he just likes the limelight and this is the way he can stay in it.
He got caught DUI last time too, what does that tell abut a supposedly top promoter? Would you put your future in the hands of a man like that?
If he doesn't change his approach real quick I hope Oscar just packs his stuff and gtfo the world of promoters. Same applie to Kathy Duva, and to those slimy ass crook Caribe Promotions

“Once he has all the belts there’s no reason for him to stay there,” said trainer Abel Sanchez to K.O Artist Sports about Golovkin. “If the fight with Billy Joe Saunders gets made, which they’re talking about making in June, then his intentions are to move up because he’s done what he wanted. If they’re able to come up with an agreement that Gennady likes to fight the redhead, then we’ll fight the redhead. But if not, we’re going to go on and move to 168,” said Sanchez.
“He wants to fight in June. I it’s not Saunders, then it could be Tureano Johnson,” said Sanchez. “If the guys are bigger and can take it, better for us as fans. We get a better fight. Zurdo has made comments that he wants to fight him. Zurdo is the guy that has been more boisterous, so there’s a possibility. I’d like to see him [Golovkin] unify the 168 pound division like he did in the 160 lb. division. We’ll see who it is in June. Eventually, we’re going to move up to a new weight where they’re going to be bigger and they’re going to be able to take the punch. It’s beneficial in his mind that he knows he can go 12 and it’s not a problem. He was strong in the 12th [against Jacobs]. He was able to do things he wanted to do,” said Sanchez.
Golovkin will move to 168 after June if no Canelo fight says Sanchez » Boxing News

When the Miguel Cotto-James Kirkland HBO PPV fight scheduled for Feb. 25 was canceled it left the rest of the fights on the card in limbo, including the bout between junior featherweight titlist Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs) and interim titlist Moises Flores (25-0, 17 KOs). The bout is scheduled to go to a WBA purse bid on April 3. Rigondeaux is entitled to a 75-25 split of the winning purse. Minimum bid is $120,000. The camps could still make a deal but if it goes to a purse bid and Rigondeaux promoter Roc Nation Sports wins there's a good chance the bout could wind up on the HBO PPV undercard of the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev light heavyweight title rematch, which is in the works for June 17. Both fighters would be coming off long layoffs. Rigondeaux has not fought since last July and Flores has been out of the ring since last June.
these long layoffs man..the day rigo loses that im sure will be the reason why
