Yarde to me gets washed against Kovalev unless he gets lucky I think he fights wrong style for his body

Dubois looked really good to me, looked quicker for some reason he’s going to be a problem

Yeah the Usyks, Kovalevs of the world have a distinct output advantage, particularly as the fight gets deeper.

That being said Yarde isn't completely out of his depth for a muscle bound guy, he can box competently in many respects, just isn't much in the way of a pressure fighter etc.

I thought he jabbed pretty much to perfection all night against Alvarez. Perhaps historically in some of his fights he's faded, but i dunno about gassing out as such.

Effective bodywork on most fighters above 160 is going to slow down most of em however.

thats the one thing admittedly that makes me go about DAZN...im positive they are in the red with their net cash flow as they are trying to build whatever they are doing

Boxing is a sport where I truly believe it's best to build over time, as opposed to fast tracking your way by throwing money around.

I wish DAZN the best, because this has a lot of potential, but I have my doubts.

Very layered question. But I’ll take a stab...

I think in a sport such as Boxing, fans who follow it daily like us, some feel a pride or sense of loyalty since it can be argued it’s a cult type of sport this day and age. We also expect and already assume how promoters are snakes and disloyal but get shocked when a fighter jumps ship or leaves looking for their better interest. I feel like other than individual sports, these boxers have a sense of individuality that other sports don’t... and we tend to forget these guys have teams and advisors who are constantly in their ear trying to tell said fighter what’s their best option.

Hate to bring race into but it’s like PBC-Haymon have a stanbase of brothers who feel if a black fighter leaves to Top Rank, MatchRoom , now DAZN that they’re to some degree selling out when the fact of the matter is it’s essentially just an NBA free agent leaving to a different team who pitches their best offer with obviously money, opportunity and future plans..

I assume this question is tied into Wilder and I always thought he was a PBC through and through , I never knew he was “independent” until it was posted in here the other day.. it’s just weird to me that it seems like the only way for this AJ/Deontay fight to happen is if Wilder signs with DAZN
