Great fight but it was a clear win for Alvarado. Rios didn't do sh1t after round 6.

He was drained his stamina was shot by like 6, had Mike seen that the body shots was hurting Rios he would have finished him

JMM has to fight Manny or truly fukk off like Arum suggested, Rios is locked up

Those body shots was damn near making him sit down. Next fight Alvarado should focus on going to the body.

if Alvarado goes to the body early and often then bring it back up top, he will stop Rios. I disagree with those saying Rios is a particularly tough match for guys at 147. A big part of his advantage is melting down to fight at 140 and 135 previously. His size and strength when he enters the ring is beneficial. At 147 he would have to face guys who are faster than him with power and guys he wouldnt have a strength advantage over. A guy like Berto could have a field day with Rios because Rios is not as smart as Guerrero. If Guerrero has a good showing against FMJ and Rios could beat Alvarez (which is a big if) I would personally love to see Guerrero vs Rios.

I'd like to see Ortiz talked into coming back to 147 for a clash with Rios :youngsabo:

yeah, Ortiz could definitely box/punch the shyt outta Rios, but that fight would likely be another Ortiz-Maidana. when it gets too hot in the kitchen, Ortiz folds. its highly unlikely he would stand up to 10-12 rounds of Rios pressure without wilting. Entertaining fight but Ortiz is not a tough guy like Alvarado....shame too because Ortiz has a lot of good skills and physical tools.

With the bad blood between these two.....like he did with Berto, I have a feeling he'd find a way :whoo:

Why would anyone want Ortiz to beat Rios? Ortiz is a super bytch, Rios would die in the ring before losing to Ortiz, he HATES him with a passion

I am not a fan of either. Rios is an idiot outside of the ring. Ortiz was basking in the glow when he was crushing lesser fighters but then when he started to take some punches, he conveniently assessed that he may be in the wrong profession. It would be a great fight but I dont think I would be pulling for either....rather than for the fight itself.

mike is a top rank fighter...he's on the roster they show on the website...its a shame but i agree with arum...he should wait on the rubber match...for rios sake

:beli: fukk all that, dude is a warrior, he don't give a fukk, we shouldn't either...set it up, cause we all know it's more competitive than anything else he got to offer

While he's at it, set up Bradley-Provodnikov 2
