@Newzz that AB episode got Broner looking like a violent drunkard![]()

question...
Floyd has fought about 8 times at WW and twice at JMW.
Pac has fought about 6 times at WW and once at JMW.
Both have been rated #1 P4P while at WW.
I never hear anyone saying Pac is ducking Canelo or asking him to fight Serge.
why not?

Manny has never fought at Junior Middleweight.
The highest he ever fought was at 150lbs against Antonio Margarito in a catchweight.
Canelo would never go down to 150lbs to fight Manny, but he would stay at 154lbs and fight Floyd being.......being that Floyd, out of his own mouth, likes JMWs (De La Hoya/Cotto) to fight at the weight they are comfortable at and all![]()
 you are right and wrong. he fought at a catchweight but for the jmw title. that makes him just as much a jmw as Floyd because Floyd has never weighed in at 154 either. one pound over your current weight class automatically places you in the next weight class. the highest Floyd ever weighed in at was 151 for Cotto and prior to that 150 for DLH. the difference is Floyd's opponents came in on weight or just below.

A look at how some of Floyd's techniques would translate to MMA
Floyd Mayweather's Boxing: A Good Fit in the UFC? | Bleacher Report
Even though he fought for the title, Manny has never weighed in over the WW weight limit for a fight and for the fight with Antonio Margarito, he weighed in at only 144.6 lbs at weigh-ins ( Pacquiao vs. Margarito: Pacquiao weighs in at 144.6 pounds - latimes.com ) and ended up coming into the ring at only 148lbs while Margarito came in at 165lbs (Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito, round-by-round - Chris Mannix - SI.com )
Floyd HAS weighed in over the WW limit, which like you said, automatically places you in the next weight class and, because of his own mouth, has no excuse why he cant fight Canelo Alvarez.....especially since he clowned Pac for catchweights and said that he wanted DLH and Cotto to fight at their natural weights so they are comfortable

Kinda hard to read when the first paragraph starts talking aboutfor no reason

Yes Sir.yeah, I keep forgetting Pac never weighed in over WW limit. you are correct again. still, I dont see an excuse on either end. I hate catchweights. If Pac wants to weigh in at 144 thats fine....but when you fighting for titles....either you fighting that person in that division or not. asking them to CW is bullshyt politics. SRL started that bullshyt when he fought LaLonde.
Henry Armstrong gave zero fukks. He won the welterweight title weighing in under the lightweight limit and he didnt ask Ross to come down to 136 to do it
as Roger would say...:udontknow: weight dont win fights....skills pay the bills
Yes Sir.
A lot of older fighters did that when there were fewer weight classes and bigger gaps between them. Hell Ray Robinson was fighting at middleweight at 147 pounds still...
And I don't mean to create a Super Heavyweight division, but "Heavyweight" really should be capped off at 250 IMO
nah because there are/were some not so dominant fighters who were heavier than that...heavyweights of today just need to get their skills up
