I fully expect Khan to get one of the worst beatings ever if he does get a fight with Floyd. The first round will prolly look like the 1st rd of Trinidad/Vargas.
I can't front, Nonito handled the whole Rigo fight like a straight up bytch with all the excuses and melodrama before the fight, but dude is still an elite fighter. He didn't fight a murderers row last year but everyone was solid except for the gimmie Arce fight. I wish other elite fighters would lace them up 4 times a year.

Yup. and it then adds to a poorer product since the fighter knows if he loses 1x, his future earnings and status are crushed, so he's less likely to take a fight against a formidable opponent.
One of the things (if any) that I like about MMA, the emphasis on an L isn't as big.

as much as i hate it devon is prolly the choice...i have no interest in seeing floyd vs devon...and i sure as hell wont pay or put in for that..its straight stream status..this is a regular showtime fight...not ppv worthy

this ain't edison miranda, sam peter, sakio bika we're talking about here
time will tell which one of us is right and I am confident it will be me but....what makes LM better than pre-Pavlik version of Miranda? Eastman and Green were just as good or better than anyone LM has beaten. The first Abraham fight was abysmal and Miranda shouldve been champ but it was atrociously officiated by the incompetent Randy Neuman. Sam Peter...same thing. LM hasnt even gotten to the level that Peter was at when Peter had beat Toney twice and Maskaev...and you cant compare losing close decisions to a young Alexander and a slightly past prime Judah to losing a close fight to Wlad in the first one.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE SKILL or sooner or later you will be exposed. Once LM is no longer in position to pick and choose fights as the aforementioned guys were he will start losing because he can be outboxed. You cant rely on power alone.
I doubt LM has as good a career as Mayorga. That 3rd round KO over Forrest absolutely craps on that 3rd round KO over Peterson simply because Forrest was a top 5 P4P fighter, something Peterson will NEVER be. At best that Peterson KO is on par with the Six Heads KO.
