also there is something else that needs to be pointed out, most people in the coli never saw the 1st marquez fight let alone the 2nd. but the second fight was when pacquiao was still a middle tier fighter. not until he stopped de la hoya did he beome a mainstream sensation, but on boxing sites everywhere, most people thought marquez won, i also had money on that fight.

I had the same suspicion that Manny must have been making noises that he wouldn't be re-signing with Top Rank and that was why Arum shafted him in the Bradley fight. I think Teddy Atlas said the same thing on ESPN. The best thing for all of boxing would be for Manny to get as far away from Arum and be the impetus for the rest of the Top Rank stable to realize that old school promoters like Arum never have their best interests at heart. Arum needs to be dropkicked into irrelevance like what has happened to Don King.
