right....we are on the same page, but talking attributes and tendencies. Guerrero had the stamina...but where was the workrate? Zab had the speed but where was the counters.
these are really good fighters. Floyd never threw the jab to the body on Zab because Zab could come over top or underneath. The point is, even if you have the attributes, Floyd never fights opponents the same way and usually takes away whatever they are good at. Zab did well early but still....he couldnt use any of his best weapons against Floyd. Same with Corrales. The only time Floyd really let a fighter get his shyt off was Castillo and Floyd was giving as good as he was getting in the 1st fight. 2nd fight, he didnt even fukk around. Castillo needs to be set. Hit him with the jab to the body and move. Gametime.

more like 20 years ago. The last fight I remember of Bowes was either the beatdown of Herbie Hide or the Brawl @ MSG and I know they 15 years old

Yeah yeah I know there was a weight difference in the fight, but you had the counter puncher in Marquez who couldnt do nothing in the fight because his speed wasnt quick enough to trouble Floyd . And when Mosley caught Floyd it was from a combo (body then head) than a counter.
I suppose we might aswell throw in the old southpaw theory while we at it aswell.
