It was today announced how unbeaten super-bantamweight contender Carl Frampton will face Argentinas Fabian Oscar Orozoco on Frank Warrens upcoming July 20th bill at Wembley. 26-year-old Frampton, who recently left Matchroom to sign with Warren, is excited about his next bout: I think it will be a very exciting fight, the 16-0(11) contender told Boxing News. From the footage I have seen of him he seems keen to get into tear-ups, which I what I like, someone wholl come and have a fight.
Frampton was last seen in the ring in April, when he defeated Kiko Martinez in impressive fashion, the stoppage win adding the European title to Framptons Commonwealth belt. Against Orozco, against whom the IBF inter-continental belt will be on the line, Frampton should be expected to shine.
El Dominio, as Orozco is known, has never before fought outside of Argentina and he has a number of wins over fighters who have losing records. Julys fight will prove a big step up in class for the 27-year-old with the 20-2-2(7) ledger.
Top of the bill at Wembley will be the heavyweight clash between Dereck Chisora and the unbeaten Malik Scott.
