nikkas need to stop with the Canelo impressed vs Trout bullshyt he won 4 clear rounds thats it


How can you make an assessment on a fighter from a fight 66% of boxing experts felt he lost, a fight where vanilla ass Trout had to abandon his jab and come in reckless because of the open scoring bullshyt which caused him to get knockdown, a fight where Canelo fat ass was sucking wind after 2 like it was his first time in the gym, a fight where the ginger resorted to getting on his bycyle after getting his head boxed off because he knew he would be awarded round after round and the decision no matter what..............




It's all good Floyd and Canelo weight difference isnt as much as televised according to the pics, the ginger would get his soon

That fight was a perfect example of a fighter doing better than what most people expected so their performance gets exaggerated. At best that fight could have been a draw. I'm starting to wonder if the Canelo/Floyd fight looks similar to Canelo/Trout (Floyd getting dropped, but using his ring generalship to win most of the rds) will nikkas say Floyd got robbed or that Canelo impressed again. Cuz nikkas weren't trying to hear that Trout got robbed.

I don't see the Hopkins/Taylor comparisons either since...

Taylor's skills and talent >> Canelo's skills and talent. Both got stamina issues, but at least Taylor can give you 8 or 9 hard rounds. Canelo be hard pressed to give you 5 or 6 good rounds.

Besides just imagine if Taylor and Floyd were able to fight each other at 154 with no problems just for the sake of argument. You can't tell me that Taylor wouldn't be a more difficult opponent than Canelo. His jab alone along with his size would be a tall order.

Not to mention both times he fought at Jr MW, he fought at the full limit of 154. This catchweight against Canelo is just an attempt to weaken his psychologically and physically so Floyd can gain some form of an advantage.

No. This catchweight is simply so come fight time Floyd isnt fighting a LHW. Floyd would rehydrate at no more than 157. Plain and simple.

You know why fighters like Canelo get gassed? Because they train to lose weight, not train to go 12 rounds.

Inactivity hurts. Thats the thing. He looks much better in those promo pics for JMM than he did in those pics you posted. He looks really good actually, just like he needs to cut some water weight. In those pics you posted, he was fat. When he has time to get in camp and work...he doesnt have much problems. He is going to be in superior shape come fight time.

As for JMM being overrated....not in my book. To me, he is better than Morales and Barrera because of his body of work and what he was able to do while moving up in weight. He wasnt always the most exciting and thats why he has been underrated to a degree. Technically, he is the best Mexican I have seen. Now whether or not he's been juicing...thats another story.

This fight is really tough for me to call...but right now I have to go with Bradley.

Morales is a good technician when he wants to be but defensively, none of them were as good as JMM, plus he was a lil more athletic too. You think Naz had a problem with MAB....lol. JMM wouldve given him fits. Counter a little??? The boy is one of the sickest counterpunchers ever. You have to realize, he could counter the shyt outta fighters who had much more speed than himself.

I remember that fight and RESPECTED people were saying that out of the top 3 Mexican fighters, JMM may be the best. Morales and MAB wanted no parts of him....thats a fact. Why didnt he have a nutritionist? He was making 7 figures BEFORE this fight.

I'll tell you why, because likely he is one of those types who like to come in heavy just for the sake of power and punch resistance.

If he is in great shape, he wont be gassed. He is a good fighter but not as seasoned as Ghost so I have difficulty seeing what he brings to the table that Floyd hasnt seen before except weighing in day of as a LHW (his only clear advantage)...which you seem to insist he wont do.

this is why I dont like using the word duck anymore because it can be applied to anyone. if JMM ducked Morales then the same could be said of Floyd 3-fold. Floyd had many challenges who were still in their primes and very marketable. Floyd vs Popo couldve been HUGE. Likewise with Tszyu. He couldve had Stevie Johnson and Casamayor as well.

It didnt make sense to Morales when JMM was beltless and had no following but it made sense to him when he lost 5 out of 6 fights? The only thing he had to hang his hat on was the Pac win.

Anyone who doesnt know that Morales and MAB saw JMM as high risk/low reward :udontknow: Max Kellerman went apeshyt about it. Its like if Broner stays at 135 and refuses to face Crawford. There are legitimate business reasons why he shouldnt fight him but a duck is a duck. By the time JMM emerged from the shadows...El Terrible was getting the brakes beat off him.
