I agree.

Garcia is still a young fighter but a win over Matthysse at 140 after beating Khan and Zab would put him in line for bigger fights. I don't buy the notion that he can dance around the division then go on to make big money. IMO he hasn't earned it yet and I like Danny.

It is a duck because hes trying to cash out without being undisbuted best in his division.... Lets keep it 100 though... Danny is going to lose his next fight regardless of its Mathyssee, Broner, Or Floydie... he might as well attempt to win his mando.... it will probably be better to fight Lucas, which he will lose.. wait for Floydie to fight Canelo, which Floydie will lose, then Danny would be the perfect test for Floyds comeback

• Garcia is unified and Ring champ.
• LM lost to Zab....whom Floyd beat already.
• Danny is undefeated and LM is twice beaten.
• The possibility of Garcia vs....in Barclays is better than a guy who is best known in the U.S. for losing to the 2 best fighters he faced and KO over post-steroid Peterson.

both would be underdogs...but Garcia is an easier sell because LM really aint KO anyone that the public would give true credence to. His best win was a KO over a guy who tested positive after his best win.

I agree with you...but....newsflash....nobody gives a shyt about becoming great anymore. Its all about the $$$. Even if Garcia wanted to...his team, management, promoter will put him in with what nets the most $$$. The fighter really has no say so.
