I was watching an nba game recently and saw one of my favorite players sit out yet once again due to load management. It got me thinking of the benefits if it was implemented in the sport of boxing.
Let’s take someone like Canelo. He recently fought 4 times within a 12 month timespan and it arguably ruined his career. He’s never been the same. He lost to some guy from Russia that I’ve never heard of at 175, and looked lethargic against a 43 year old diabetic version of GGG.
An athlete of his caliber and stature needs rest. He should be fighting once every other year. After he fights Ryder in May, let’s come back strong May 2025 & then perhaps a retirement fight in 2027.
It’s time that boxing evolve with times. Perhaps I was wrong about Jermall Charlo. I heard he was looking to schedule his next fight sometime in October of either 2024 or maybe 2025. This is a guy that gets it.
I'm not a Ryan fan or Pantties De'la Whora but Floyd asking Ryan "is he a boxer or youtuber." Is weak.
If you go back to when this nikka was fighting and also tried to rap and was on sway freestyling and was hanging with 50 Is he a rapper or a boxer? He probably would've said he could do both.
But I get he was just trying to promote Tank and that clip is old anyways.
Ehhh, idk mayne saying Ryan built his following off of social media isn't as bad of a critique imo, especially nowadays. Even in this thread a lot of the shyt posted is from social media. Twitter/IG/Youtube That's pretty much saying Ryan was able to promote himself online. But maybe Floyd is also implying his fanbase aren't pure boxing fans. Which is fair to say along with him putting in more work. But by that time, Floyd was established and had put in major work. I think that’s what he tryna say.
Floyd just doesn't respect it because professionally ryan hasn't accomplished shyt in contrast with the social media attention. Floyd toiled a decade before even coming close to being a draw in boxingEhhh, idk mayne saying Ryan built his following off of social media isn't as bad of a critique imo, especially nowadays. This is a fair point.Floyd just doesn't respect it because professionally ryan hasn't accomplished shyt in contrast with the social media attention.
Even then people still shyted on Floyd. I remember that clip with the West Indian woman saying to his face she didn't know him.Floyd toiled a decade before even coming close to being a draw in boxing
This is true. That fight hype video I remember watching months ago. So Oscar had to dig for that clip unless he saw it reposted elsewhere recently.Oscar being oscar was prolly looking for any opportunity to talk some shyt to Floyd about what he said as usual![]()
How you the WBC champ in the hottest division and a free agent. Bruh like 34 .. such wasted potential
