it should be november to be honest..so they can recover if they have to run it back

Eubank should have only agreed to this rematch if the first fight's winner can set the terms of the rematch, so no rehydration clause and full 160, without any catchweight BS.
But last thing I read is Eddie Hearn (speaking instead of Benn as usual) getting mad about Eubank not wanting September 20, saying the fight is off and Benn wants a title shot :mjlol:
It seems like this whole Benn thing was really the hill for Eddie Hearn to die on. I believe up to that point he still got the benefit of the doubt from a lot of ppl but a full heel turn since.

Oh so you just looking to argue just to argue.

Norman pissed clean for his last fight and said he would sign up for vada drug testing in august after vacation. Even in your analogy the person is at work not vacation. That's like your boss calling you in for work after he already approved your PTO. Norman's just fought last month. If Bill Haney legitimately suspected Norman Jr is a cheater Why even take the fight in the first place? Seems like Bill looking for a excuse for not going forward with the fight.

Boxer's taking time off to rest after a fight is nothing new. Rest is important.

Also Bill will talk about fighters using peds but trained Alycia Baumgardner at one point after she popped dirty for PEDS. He still did business with her why not Norman who never to this point popped for any drug test.

It's 2025 and people are still falling for Bill Haney's fukkboy antics lol

And people swear he's great for Boxing

Yeah man idk I want to see this fight go through but look like Bill trying to find a reason to pull out. I'm hoping it's just a promotional stunt to get people talking about the fight. That would be a great win for Devin's Resume. With Boots gone out of 147 I see Norman as the toughest champion in the division. Dev could be undisputed possibly. I don't see Rolly or Mario Barrios beating Dev.

With that said Norman could just as well be undisputed if the fight fall through.

Exactly. My guess is that the Haney's signed up for the fight, then asked around to see if Brian Norman is really like that with the people he sparred/trained with, got told that he's really like that, and now are spooked and looking for ways to get an advantage or possibly pull out for the fight

And I heard that Turki told the Haney's that in order for them to make money with Riyad Season, they are not to be given easy fights at all, and they were given Norman as an option at 147. Similar to the Boots Andrade situation

IF that guess is true the Haneys should've done their research before making the fight. I know Dev had a hit list. Was calling out Boots at one point too. Whether that was sincere or just a way to get his name spinning on social media and news site is beyond me. I think Dev has the skills to outbox Norman but it wont be easy and it might not be a fan appealing fight. With that said Norman definitely can sleep Haney with the right shot or combination.

Man Turki not playing. Said no more Tom and Jerry. If the fight goes through I dont see Devin sitting in the pocket with Norman. Norman was wrestling with dude big ass bodyguard.

This is true. Turki was trying to setup a fight with Tszyu vs Bud a yr or so back and Tszyu was opting to fight a inactive Keith Thurman instead. Turki probaly thinks he is a bytch and dont respect him. He's probably triggered and unhinged from dealing with bytchmade fighters like Teo and Ryan Garcia that ducked out their big pay fights Turki setup. I dont blame him :yeshrug:

100% agree, whenever you try way too hard to duck opponents, it ALWAYS comes back to bite you. Tim Tszyu literally cherry-picked Thurman who was inactive for his fight in Las Vegas after Turki already wanted to make a fight with him and Bud. Him ducking, was followed by Keith pulling out for injury, a replacement with a completely different type of opponent in Fundora, a head cut, a loss, and another loss to Murdazaliev

All he could have done was just fight Bud and call it a day. No one, and I mean no one would bat an eye to you losing to Bud, they just want to see you put up a good fight. After that loss, we would have bounced back and still been contending for titles. Same thing with Tank. Spent all those years taking the easy route with Barrios and Rolly, ended up in a cherry pick gone wrong situation with Lamont Roach, and now he's in shambles

Tim pretty much got a humiliation ritual at this point

Teo gets punked again. Now smacked by Matias :mjlol:

Dude killed his own Career. Blackballed from the Saudis, nobody is a fan of his, IDK how long he got or what kinda deal he even has with TR Still. Best he can hope for at this rate is take pay cuts to Unify and grind a redemption arc but dude is too stupid. If he doesn't fight Matias or Hitchens next he is done.
