he only connection is him being consulted with to help commisions catch nikkas cheating more efficiently.. THATS IT....

He shouldn't even be involved in that aspect. Especially with his history. He's one of the biggest scumbags of all time. If he has ties to vada it means he has relationships there. He has possible confidants. That also means it's possible he has intel on random testing times. He shouldn't be involved on any level. There's plenty of people they can hire as advisors who didn't go to prison for producing and distributing steroids. And fighters have a right to feel uneasy about him being involved.

And either way, Brian Norman already agreed to start testing on August 1st. Which is 4 months of testing. Double the usual amount of 8 weeks that most fights have. So for the haneys to try and create a narrative of Brian Norman ducking testing when it's absolutely false is a clown move on their part. And that's exactly the type of stuff that gets them so much flack outside of the ring. They're trying to paint Norman as a cheater because they decided they wanna change the testing window that was already agreed upon. That's corny behavior.

i do too..i never mind streaming...shyt how can i...i used to watch german/japanese boxing on real player 25 years ago lol

but it should always have an audience on the most accessible media which is still TV..i think how TR moves after espn may determine that
Real Player. :blessed::salute:

Circa '98, running real player and a bootleg pro tools, waking up at 2:00 am to stream and record 'Future Flavas' to then bounce to cassette tape to listen to on the way to school.

Real Player was an important application, in a lot ways. Quiet Storm (The OG version with just P) was through that shyt in the school library, and it still sounded incredible. :wow:.

DAZN was never gonna save boxing.

Right intentions, wrong platform.

Imagine expect boxing events to cross over when they're on an app that less than 1 million ppl in North America have, let alone know exists
They're slowly, and methodically eating up all the markets though.

They have most sports on lock in Europe and the Southern Hemisphere now. When you consider the stranglehold that Saudi Arabia is tightening by the month in regards to the U.S.A. economy, it's only a matter of time before they take larger and larger percentages of the overall sports broadcasting companies.

They're playing the long game.

*edit, that don't mean they're saving boxing though, in fact I'd argue its the opposite.

I've been thinking about Usyk's place in history and I'm not sure he survives the 1970s or 1990s era of Boxing

1970s
- Ali
- Foreman
- Joe Frazier
- Ken Norton
- Larry Holmes
- Earnie Shavers
- Ron Lyle
- Jimmy Young
- Leon Spinks

1990s
- Holyfield
- Lewis
- Tyson
- Bowe
- Tua
- Moorer
- Foreman (Older version)
- Ray Mercer
- Razor Rudduck
- Ike Ibeabuchi

Forget taking Ali's spot as the GOAT, which is laughable. Usyk can be competitive in the 70s and 90s. But will he come out unscathed and come out on top of the division? I highly doubt it
