Chump ass Charlo fought to not get knocked out instead of believing in himself. He had the tools to beat Canelo that night, easily too imo.

Facts
nikka literally laid an egg after complaining about Canelo ducking him and bro for years.
Even Andrade tried harder against Benavidez.

Mell's at his best during exchanges, but he was too afraid to force any to open up Canelo's offense cuz those single shots were hard enough to keep him in check.

Worst part of it all, this nikka had no problem bragging about left hooking his girl after the fight.

Until keyshawn fumbled at the 1 yd line this year..Mell's performance against Canelo was the last individual performance to disappoint. He had the opportunity to do what Crawford ending up doing at a time where Canelo's career was hanging in the balance. Was not locked in during training and made a business decision not to sell out because of the payday. Mell has done enough for the HOF but that would have stamped it for sure. He has time to add on but it remains to be seen if he even wants to anymore

Sorry but saying Mell Charlo could have done what Crawford did, but "he wasn't serious enough" is straight comical. This is the same guy that went life and death with Castano, and was actually getting legit hurt when he was trading in the pocket
