Crawford also benefited from fighting the worst most past it version of Canelo ever.

The one Mell fought still had some something at least.

nikkas can deny everything else, but you can't deny that. :russ:

It don’t matter what version of Canelo. A 40 year diabetic version of Canelo is beating Jermell.

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone. We talking about Jermell Charlo? Lil Charlo? The little nygga that was able to unify a weak 154 division? The little nygga that was able to capitalize on the fact that there was no star power at 154, therefore, the politics of boxing decided it was in everyone’s best interest to unify? The nygga that folded once he got hit with a baby jab? That nygga? :what:

Too many holes in that logic cuh.

This would mean that there was no reason for Charlo to lose since he has less fights than Crawford and had been fighting once a year for the last 3 years before fighting Canelo. And he's younger than Crawford...

It doesn't matter what Mell had going on. He still fought the fresher version of Canelo. Mell, Thurman, Bud, etc...all these nikkas was on some part time boxer shyt, but at the end of the day if you got to Canelo first, you more than likely got a better version than the one Bud fought.

Bud is a better fighter than Mell and this been proven way before either fought Canelo. Nobody is denying that.

Mell could have trained and fought better whether he wins or loses. That's what we basically saying. and that.......

Bud still fought a more past it version of Canelo than Mell did. Both are facts

that's it. I got nothing else to say on this shyt. Unless.....
ya'll finna tell me Holmes fought a better version of Ali than Foreman did. :mjlol:

The same Charlo that lost to Tony Harrison and struggled so bad against Castanano that he had to run it back. :mjlol:

And I ain't shytting on Harrison or Castanano. They're really good fighters. But I don't finna act like they're elite either. :heh:

I actually agree with Timmy on this one.

I'd be surprised like Shane was after the scores were read for the 2nd Oscar fight, if Haney somehow pulls it off.
I totally agree with him on it too. I've been saying it about B. Norm Jr. for months he punches well with & between shots which makes him very dangerous. And he has great timing & I could see him clipping Haney

I don’t even like Canelo like that, but I gotta acknowledge that he only loses to elite guys. You gotta be elite. He’s not gonna just lose to a guy like Charlo.

Now if he continues to fight in his later years, perhaps just being a good fighter will be sufficient.

Jermell is just a solid fighter to me. Nothing more. I don’t watch a Jermell fight and think ”woah this is an amazing fighter.” I think “aight, Jermell grinded another tough win against ________.” He don’t got the skills to make fights look easy. He gotta earn every second of every round.

You legit coulda stopped right there because everything else is a bunch of bullshyt. :heh:

But nobody was arguing that to begin with. :what:

that was never the point.

Coli nikkas love playing stupid. :why:

and nobody has to explain Mell's limitations to me.

I'm like the only nikka to pick Castano to beat him in the 1st fight. :mjlol:

This gon be another Quillin/Guerro type of fight where the more skilled guy gets beat up by the bigger puncher.

What limitations are you looking for? The nikka just ain't better than Crawford or Alvarez. I never said he was trash. He just ain't better than those two. :heh:

I don't think Norm Jr. will let him do that lol. He's athletic himself & has shown he can cut off the ring

Tim Bradley made great points. We don't know what to expect from Haney. But I would say this. If Haney fights with the same approach like he did against Ryan Garcia, he's getting knocked out
Brian Norman Jr has deceptive speed. If Haney stays in the pocket a little too long, it won't be good for Haney

If Haney decides to fight like he did against Ramirez, that is more of a question mark, but I do not think it would work because Ramirez was cooked and did not have the footspeed to keep up with Haney
