yeah, honestly with Boxing so volatile these promoters tryna protect the little money they have left in house it seems vs just letting cards fall and making the best fights.

I`m seeing Virgil only made 500k for the Lubin fight which isn't out the realm of reality but their team is calling for 10m for Boots when dudes were not even getting 10m for fighting Canelo besides maybe Bud recently lol.

Like I said Boots just needs to go Belt hunting, as if Virgils team is serious then the paths will inevitably cross.

Then he just continued to flip flop his own talking points. Went from I want to go to 154 because I feel weak at 147, then Virgil agrees to fight him back in Feb 2025, and then it was oh I got unfinished business at 147

Then the whole ducking drama of Haney, Teo, Brian Norman Jr, Jesus Ramos, etc. I definitely want to see the Boots vs Vergil fight. But Boots is now getting the payback that he caused on himself

The only way to make up for ducking.....is to take the fight you ducked (ie :Spence vs Crawford)

Yeah true. Just that telling Haney to fight him at 152 when Haney never even fought at 147 yet was just nasty work lol. Telling the media that Jesus Ramos ducked him at 154, when Boots actually called Jesus Ramos' older less talented uncle who was not even a 154 pounder is another form of nasty work lol. can't just be like "Oh I'm ready now" , and just expect people to come running to face you

Man I forgot about that Jesus Ramos situation. shyt if the Ortiz fight fall through which it sounds like it will or already has then Him and Ramos would be a good alternative. But be even better to fight a champion. And I know Ramos got a fight schedule soon.

Ortiz talking about spence in one breathe then saying he's hurt in another breathe is definitely a duck IMO.
