I don't think it's so that weak. I think it's competitive.

And I don't think Garcia wins out. For as much shyt as people like to give Barrios, he'll give anybody a tough and ugly fight that will likely end in some weird ass decision that no one expected.

Romero is the one that I think could get smoked. Cuh had one fight where he showed some boxing IQ against a guy who isn't a very good boxer himself. If anyone could slip up at 147, it would be him.

Im more so saying Devin is levels above every other champ at 147 skill wise. Norman Jr imo would actually be competitive against any other champ at 147 and was neutralized by Haney due to his lack of depth.

Barrios can possibly beat Ryan as he can do what Rolly did to Ryan much better.

Devin can pull off Undisputed by Next Summer pretty easy as it seems Turki is going to fund at least 2 more fights.

nah doc 147 is weak...they got weak champions outside of devin haney

norman got dethroned by a haney who is still fighting skittish, clinches half the fight, and in first gear
barrios is having hard fights with b levels, c levels, and all time greats who havent fought in 4 years..who has more draws than wins as champ
crocker is the benefit of boxing version of murphy's law
rolly beating ryan garcia was seen as an upset because he lost so badly or got gifts when he took previous step ups in competition and for some reason rolly has ryan's number

the contenders are at the same level of the champs outside of haney lol

The only competition I see Haney having is if Tiger Johnson gets a belt
Or if Richardson Hitchins decides to move up to 147. I think Haney loses to Hitchins

If we being real Hitchins should gun for the IBF NOW because its an In House matchroom fight i wanna say and clearly he has no intention of unifying 140. That will put him in direct trjactory of a career defining fight + undisputed potential.

Hitchins imo just seems complacent like Boo boo andrade, he isnt doing shyt to take a risk to get stardome and there isnt even a Tank at 140 he can claim is ducking him. Them 140 WBA and WBC have been switching hands like hot cakes and he did nothing to swoop in and steal one.

Dude is skilled but going too long without being tested/pushed to the limit is going to handicap you once that big stage finally comes if ever.

If Teo loses to Shakur I can already see him going to 147.

With Keyshawn coming up him vs Hitchins would be a great fight business wise but wont happen

he did..kenny porter had him boxing at 5..porter had the legit amateur foundation.
ha, in that same episode Porter actually bought this up as an argument that he was more knowledgeable than some of his peers
The other weird thing about Porter never knowing anything about historical/current fighters....is he still regularly spars up and coming fighters and has been doing that for like the last 30 yrs. Like he takes nothing away from those sessions to be able to form informed opinions

Nah I can't say that. Hitchins pulled up on Teo multiple times to make a fight. Even went to Eddie Hearn to make the fight.

But like always, Teo continued to duck smoke of a talented Black fighter :francis:

IMO the only reason why Teo took the Shakur fight, cause in alot of fighter's minds, they rather just be outclassed then have any risk of getting knocked out or seriously hurt. In a weird way, Shakur is the least risk out of all the Black fighters he ducked, even though Shakur has the highest probability of beating him

I dont trust the whole social media stuff, unless Hitchins can post emails of lawyers talking to set up legit negotiations its all cap to me.

I do think if It legit happened Hitchins didn't press the issue enough though he may not have been in position. I know Teo was tossed as someone Turki wanted to do the Alcatraz card with Hitchins potentially being the opponent and that got bushed and Teo was added to the Times Square card, I forgot what was Hitchens status around that time, but that was also when Teo was toying with going up to 147 for Boots and calling Bud out at 154 lol

But I just watch Hitchins on Cigar talk and sound like he doing a title defense that they seem to have a date confirmed for and then wants to move up to 147

Teo famously ducked Devin Haney TWICE after Turki offered the fight to him, so I can't side with Teo on that one whatsoever lol
